Romain Grosjean is 25/1 on Sky Bet (Idk if you can get better prices elsewhere) to retire on the first lap of this weekend's Korean Grand Prix. He's retired twice on the first lap this season (Monaco & Belgium), and once on the second lap (Australia). As well as that, he's been involved in other first corner accidents where he's been able to continue in the race.

He was banned for the Italian Grand Prix for causing the first corner crash in Belgium, but despite that, and saying that he has been working on race starts since then, he still managed to take Mark Webber out on the first lap of the Japanese Grand Prix.

His history of running into people on the first lap, and that despite his ban he's not improved, would suggest that 25/1 is worth sticking a few quid on.

The stats back up your bet, but SURELY this time out he'll be pussyfooting about at the start even if it costs him places given the huge backlash he faced from Webber and Button last time out?

He's in danger of losing his seat because of it even though when he does finish he tends to score quite heavily.

I thought that he would've been pussyfooting about at the start ever since his ban. IMO, if anything was ever going to get the message across to him, it would be receiving the first ban for dangerous driving in 18 years (Not including Yuji Ide losing his super license in 2006), but his accident in Japan makes me wonder whether he's actually learned his lesson at all.

Does anyone know a site where I can see how many 180's there are, or have been, in each of tonights PDC matches?

TIA.

Watching Justin Pipe play makes you want to slash your wrists.

So painful, I nearly want Kevin Painter to beat him.

I said exactly the same thing other night.

I have layed him out of spite.  I really don't like the fella.  He makes what is normally an exciting game turgid.

Perfect thank you.

Unforch it does not seem to confirm the 180's in the earlier Nolan v VvdV match, but I think there were just 2.

I would not go that far, but he is a little deliberate.......

Painter puts me in mind of Barry Neville for some reason.

I would pay good money to see Kevin Painter play Vinnie Vihn at poker.
