Daily Summary, as @ 0950, Wednesday October 24th
LOSS on Month = £729.00
Unsettled Bets - £297.50
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc#gid=13
Sour month so far, cricket not been ideal for Fred this month
Months like this are inevitable.
Just got to try and keep bet size normal, most punters would increase bet size now and that is where it would all go wrong.
Tikay is a shrewd character, he will keep a tight rein.

read the spreadsheet Aaron
Its fantastic, bet by bet, sport by sport, month by month
rather than guessing, it'll help you understand whats going on
I just read through the Spready
so you'll understand the cricket position better then, where the ante post losers from the TWC from last month were settled this.

Gillingscum lost 2-1 tonight. Interestingly for Fred, leading scorer Danny Kedwell was left on the bench for the full 90. Not sure why, although pre-match their scumbag manager had alluded to a couple of unnamed players who were struggling to be fit.

Daily Report as at 0915, Wednesday October 24th
We lost £222 yesterday.
5 bets completed, 4 lost, & the fifth was voided, due to abandonment. Think we could have done a shade better…..
Messi chose last night NOT to score, a real CL rarity. We went unders on Scunny, it ended in a goal-fest, we went overs on Burton, it went under. The Barnet bet was a mini-banzai really, we went for the win, they drew. Best result for us was the cricket, which was abandoned.
There was plenty of chatter for Celtic to perform well, but in the end I decided I could not quite bring myself to back them. Bleurgh, but well done to the lads who got on Celtic to keep the defecit down.
Dubai noted…..
“We got 1.667 Messi to score anytime- he was 1.33 to LAY on betfair. Safe to say u running below expectation at moment”
Not wrong. It happens in punting though, & as long as we are properly rolled, it does not hurt, & we just have to ride with the swings & swongs. All part of the fun. Keep the Tips coming, just because I miss a few, does not mean that others did not get on. Jammy sods.
We will continue to keep our discipline, & not try to bet silly amounts to get out of it. We are bound to have bad months, & good months. It's all part of punting, & nobody on earth is exempt, deffo not Fred.
I was disappointed to see the unseemly squabbling on the thread. Can we keep it civil, please? We don’t do aftertiming, or poke folks in the eye for poor selections, it is not that kind of thread. A lot of Pros give us their time, & help, & I’d like that to continue – every one of us can & should have learned something from the thread. Debate is fantastic, arguing & insulting, not so much. Thanks.

Yup, & I believe Dung (?) put up Torquay to beat them.
I did good yesterday. Not.

Happy? Disappointed?
Will the shadow of Lance damage the 100th renewal? More Teams, or less?

Interestingly, India A have not picked a single spinner for the Warm Up Game v England on the Tour.
http://www.wisdenindia.com/cricket-news/selectors-spring-spin-surprise-india-team/31955
"The interesting thing about the 14-man squad picked by Sandeep Patil-led selection committee is that it does not include a single specialist spinner. This will deprive England of much-needed practice against quality slow bowling ahead of sterner tests"

Morning Mr Tikay. We were so unlucky with our cricket bet, not to worry he plays again soon.
As I mentioned yesterday a Fred hero is back in action tomorrow. Dr Noh is playing in the CIMB golf jobbie. He has beaten the Koreans so much that he now has to beat the whole of Asia. There are 10 Asians in the field and only 2 of them play on the US tour - Dr Noh and Charlie Wi. The US tour is the toughest in the world and I think that Dr Noh can triumph in this market. There is no cut this week so his consistency over 4 rounds can come to the fore.
Recommend Dr Noh Top Asian £20 @ 15/8 Corals.

Thanks Tighty. I will be getting on that India bet today. I'm just grappling with the best way to do it, as well as being a bit pre-occupied with real-life stuff.
We will be on in some form though.

Lovely stuff, back to basics!
I'll get on that today, hector, thanks.
Get the cake mix ready.

The centennial edition of Le Tour de France will be 100% French, naturellement!
Seven flat stages, five hilly, six mountain stages with four summit finishes, two ITTs, one TTT and two rest days.
Cavendish & his new team will be up for the first stage in Corsica, being a flat sprint stage. He will be out to get his first ever yellow jersey.
Highlights for me will be:
Stage 15 to Mont Ventoux is the longest of the Tour on Bastille day.
Stage 18 Alpe d'Huez twice will be epic.
The final stage in Paris will finish as the sun sets.
Initial thoughts are its likely Wiggins will ride the Giro earlier in the year & depending on form will ride along side Froome as his number 2 in the Tour.
Contador will be happy with the Tour route.

Cake mix be damned. I bought the 75% cocoa chocolate, the bananas are already ripened and I just have to toast the cardamom pods and I will be ready to bake. Did you know that most humans open bananas the wrong way? Someone looked at how monkeys open them and found that they open them from the end that is not attached to the bunch. Try it, you will find it so much easier.

Really?
That I must test!
