Has Fred still got a Stan James or VC account?
Niall on RUK highlighted he had backed Graham Lee for next years jockey's championship and at 20/1 looks like a great bet to me.
He's had 81 winners this term despite not riding for the first two months of the season and starting with virtually no contacts in the flat game.
Now he is widely used by many trainers, Stoute, Ed Dunlop, Haggas to name but three and has a very strong backing in the north Goldie, Duffield, O'Meara.
He is obviously hungry for success and very dedicated, often travelling the length of the country for one or two mounts.
I suggest £25 @ 20/1

Looking at the opposition:
Hughes has gone flat out for the title the last 3 years, riding everywhere and anything, and he's finally got it this year. He looks terrible, about 15 years older than he actually is and I wouldn't be surprised if he took it easy next season going for quality over quantity. 5/4 terrible value
Moore is the quality jockey in the field imo. But he obv doesn't give a damn about the jockeys title. He was odds on this year and showed no inclination to try an inch to win it. Now his mate Hughes has finally won it, he might be tempted next season, but I doubt it.
De Sousa had his chance and didn't win it. Now he's at Godophin, his rides are limited as they have a a handful of jocks splitting the mounts. He'll still get 100 winners, but doubt he'll have enough chances to get 150+ I'd be a layer at 7/1
Buick has a chance. But can Gosden have such an amazing season as he's had this term? You'd have to imagine Stoute, Haggas and a couple of others who've had down years would bounce back next term and cut the Gosden winner machine. He might be hungry enough to have a crack if he's close come autumn next year. 7/1 is fair imo.
Dettori. Don't make me laugh. 14/1? Add a couple of noughts to that.
Hanagan is probably value at 20/1 too. He has settled down in his new job and is riding as well as ever. If he wants to have another crack at it, he could be a runner.
Doyle, Spencer, Fallon and any other are a million.
I think Graham Lee has an outstanding chance.
Up the suggestion to £50 @ 20/1
