When that bombshell dropped, I must admit I did burst out laughing at work. Raised a few eyebrows from the people around me. Love seeing the thread succeed but that was a classic moment.

Fortunately, it isn't even still a bad bet; just not as stupendous as it seemed.

Ha, yes, Mr Bell (Top Batter Bloke) is still a good bet, but I confess, I had a roffle too, can't do right for doing wrong at the moment. Good job it's only money......

It was NEARLY much worse, let me tell you. One Gentleman (Degen Elder by trade) was on the point of suggesting - instructing - that we went for a MAX on it. Not sure if we got lucky, or unlucky.

I'll probably mount that Jockey bet, but at my age, I worry a little about bets that don't mature for another year, though sometimes the final furlong seems to last forever when on a tiring horse.

So far this season he's started both Cup games, scoring twice at West Ham last time and one against forest in the previous round.

He scored three for the reserves last week and seems pretty determined to try and become a regular again.

The quotes from martinez suggest he will certainly start again, bradford have let 3 or more in away at least 3 times this season and wont find it any easier to defend against wigan whose almost reserve side looks a lot stronger this season ( i was very impressed against  a good forest side were they bossed the game)
