Football is unbackable, the bobby1 theory, party 568

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson: "It wasn't a penalty. It's about time these people were held accountable. I'm not going to waste my time and energy talking to him. We should have three points today but we haven't. They [the officials] have got it wrong today and they haven't got the good grace to admit it."

Nottingham Forest manager Sean O'Driscoll: "We got lucky. We are thankful for the result and now it's back to the drawing board. I don't think it was a penalty. I can't run on the pitch and say don't give it. He [Anthony Taylor] is a Premier League referee and he'll have to have a look at it and explain why he gave it."

Fijian skipper sent for an early half time. England have 10 mins now to rack up some points. Fred needs stout defence.

Probably going to take a booking for England not to get to 48.

Stupendous try by Fiji.

But crucially misses the conversion. 40pts total with 25mins left.

Prognosis negative.

find it quite amusing that pearson doesnt mention the fact leicester should have scored at least 3 more in the first half if they could finish

Tikay if you are around at Midday tomorrow then Hills are doing their priority price, they are sponsoring the Grand Slam of Darts which starts tomorrow evening and I have a feeling they are going to offer Taylor to win the tournament at a tasty price although it will be £10 max bet.

Do you have a view on Thornton v Hankey?  Thornton's price looks big to me.
I find it hard to pull the trigger when it's first to 5 and not a must win, if it was best of 19 in a knockout I would agree but I tend to think that this format suits some outsiders in the early stages.

Sean O'Driscoll continues to show a different side to football management. Can't wait to see what he does with money. Fantastic football with Rovers

I've not been at all impressed with Anthony Taylor's refereeing this season.

He was in charge of Arsenal's game with QPR the other week and seemed to get every single important decision wrong including our late (and clearly offside) winner. He also had another poor game on telly last weekend although I can't quite remember who was playing.

In his favour though he does appear to be extremely fit as he always seems to be up with play even if he can't spot a blatant foul from a couple of yard's away.

Specsavers might be an idea.
