very pleasing book on the series now have no idea what the pitch will be like for the final test but whichever way they go i favour england strongly 2-1 is still my best result so an unlikely feather-bed would go down well here

had a bit of time last 24 hours and would like to suggest a bet on bournemouth who have rapidly improved under the return of howe. Some stats that back this up

under Howe 21pts from 9 games average 2.33 ppg now only 5pts off top 6

since Howes return Bournemouth have scored 22 goals in 9 games.


The strikers he has to choose from are without question the best in the division (McQuoid Tubbs Grabban Barnard Fletcher & Pitman)

The problem if there is one is that mk dons (very good side finally converting domination to wins recently) sheff utd (dour side but strong mentally and lots of depth) tranmere (did not think they would be anywere near as high tbh but have hung on well so far cant see them winning it personally) and doncaster ( have not seen them much but dont quite see them as shoe ins for the top six yet myself) are all likely even if they implode to be in and around the top six.

Personally i had a decent bet on bournemouth top six finish at 11-10 with betvictor last night , if howe maintains his current rate (probably unlikely) a top two or title challenge is even possible but to me odds against for the top six with no financial worries likely is to big.

4-6 looks about right to me now tbh there MAY be some value in future weeks on them scoring 3 and up by all accounts they could and should have had a lot more yesterday

I did respond, but I was so short of time last week you would not believe, I was flat to the boards with work, & stressed out of my mind with other stuff, & just never had time to set up a new Account with those cricketlive people. It was a difficult week for me, the work diary was choc-a-bloc. Today, I'm on R & R though, happy days!

i just said to Adam that i was amazed that the bet didn't generate any discussion at all. i thought it was a stonking bet whichever side you decided to take. luckily i went to paddy first and the unders copped,i'd have been sick to bet the over at cricbetlive and then not be able to stake the same amount for that huge middle.
i'm also aware that i'm "low profile" and dont post a lot,but cos i read the thread every day just wanted to give something back if you like.

Time issues apart, one of the challenges with this thread is people who do not have much "previous" Fred history.

On one hand, it is good to encourage Fred newbies, the more the merrier, and I generally try & get on most of them, but the other side of that coin is that if I am dealing with a complete stranger (to me) I have no idea of how they approach betting, because we do have a good few ice creams here, headed by the double scooper that is me.

A great example of this is Kuku, I did not give him credit for his great understanding of NFL at first, as I had no knowledge of him at all, & I'd be daft to invest money on the word of complete strangers.

After 2 or 3 recommends, it became quite clear he knew NFL inside out, & so now I have the confidence to pretty much back all his stuff blind.

In your case, the bet was self-evidently good, anyone could see that, but I just never really had the time to open a new Account, had never heard of "cricketlive" before, & I needed some belief that they were not a "188Bet" type outfit before depositing a few hundred quid.

I do hope you will post more. You mighty just be a great addition to our team of excellent cricket corry's. Test Cricket is a terrific punting medium, though we got the India England series a bit round our necks, (The Wall excepted) which was tough to foresee, to be honest. 

What is wrong with 188bet?  They are an offshoot of one of the biggest bookies in the world and, unless I am missing something, massively solid. Not sure that we should be excluding any bookies unless there is a very good reason for doing so.  Cricketbetlive I can understand being sceptical about but afaik they are very solid.
