Can't it be like sacks? Chop it between the involved parties.
Behold the triumvirate of wisdom!
How about a "Solomons Baby" decision - you know, the one where the baby gets sliced in half, right down the middle?
In this situation, wouldn't that be you move the bet to your own account and out of Fred?

Result of the Stewards Inquiry
I rule that MereCurmudgeonly has to make the decision.
What are true friends for, if not to share these things?

As for the dress, David, I thought it was awful. I spent most of the night moaning about who dressed various people. Tess's dress on Strictly Results Show started me off on that.
Sarah Storey's dress was lovely. HRH's beautiful full-length dress was cut magnificently and only showed the slightest of bumps. And the Wiggins had a befitting velvet suit.
Louis Smith looked like he'd come straight from his Charleston (geek chic soooooo last year). Ian Thorpe should be able to afford a dinner suit that actually fits him.
Sorry, I'll stop now!

Morning Mr T. I was so close to suggesting you repeat those lovely bets for Turriff v a proper team last night. Where was bobby ?
I am either dim and missing more nuances, perfectly possible as I have only had 1 coffee, but allez Cornwall ? Plymouth is in Devon, admittedly on the border but definitely Devon.

Ahh, well spotted.
Morton 6 - Turirff 0.
Unfortunately, Bobby1 was mainly
indisposed
last evening. I'll spare you the details, but it was in the "forgot it was his Anniversary, but his Wife did not" Department. Nasty situate.
You live in Plymouth? Ahh, my bad, for some reason I had you down as a Cornwallian. Perhaps because Cornwall folks have their own way of thinking.
Did you know that Cornwall is officially recognized as a
Celtic Nation
, that they have a movement for Self-Rule, & that Roman Rule never extended beyond Exeter?
Mixed metaphors, Solomons Baby, HRH Princess of Cambridge, a history of Cornwall, & news from Turriff FC. Fred, the font of all useless wisdom.

I was going to put up Notts County as a bet at EVS at home to Rotherham, but didn't realise their home record is not as good as I first imagined & they don't face a 'fancyable' possible trip for Round 3 away to Aldershot. I am not sure it is for Fred, but any thoughts on it, for personal bet?
PS - Just looked through spready and seen I am £242 in profit! Nice morning pick up

Anyone else think Sheff United look big on Saturday at Crawley? I know Crawley had a good win at Stevenage last week but they had been really struggling before that, turning in some poor home performances. Sheff United look to be ticking along nicely and this seems a slightly harder assignment than their recent visit to Carlisle which they won easily.
I think we should have a bit of the Blades at 8/5 as I think this will shorten. They are 5/4 with Corals.

I'd be against if McDonald is playing, they really aren't anywhere near the attacking unit they can be without him.

I knew it was classified as a Celtic jobbie and that it has its own language but the Roman law was new to me.
That boy aaron has gone and ruined it, I was enjoying looking at the figures and now Mr Novice has gone and fixed it.

Whoops!
Think that was my fault (that the "Tipsters P & L" Column became visible to all), as I tend to mess the sheet up when I have a little play.

Dave Webb, David Harvey, Bonetti, Mick Jones, John Hollins, Ron Harris, Terry Cooper and Paul Madeley are all pictured in the Old Trafford 70 final replay
The match was brutal. i was reading a match report of it today and the journalist wrote
"The match was especially violent" and this is by 1970 standards
One modern ref was asked to look at it and reckoned by modern rules the game would ahve finished 6 a side!!
You missed one Rich..... Norman " bite your legs" Hunter , no 6 with his back to goal in the 1st pic.
Proper chap , always remember the scrap he had with Franny Lee. Think it was at the baseball ground.

Think they should make it a permanent fixture while I am crushing. Was enjoying it more than the pictures. Hopefully I don't get my own thread though, will be a one post a month job if ever there was one.
Looking forward to Aaron claiming his rightful place in amongst the elders.
