Incredible ride today by AP on Colour Squadron in the 1.35 at Newbury. Horse clattered into the first and, in doing so, dislodged the saddle. McCoy had a circuit to regain 10 lengths on the three rivals, whilst trying to right the saddle in the mud, wind and rain.
He jumped the last in comfortable second, half a length behind the leader and couldn't quite catch Paddy Brennan on Module. However, it was a photo finish as to what crossed the line for second place: the horse or the jockey.
One to watch back if anyone has a link.
Lucky that horse was not ridden by one Mr G Bale then.

Hand on heart, my instinct was dive. However, the replay is conclusive that the knees clash and it was a foul.
He's not going to get those tho at the moment, sadly.

Bale has been booked five times this season for simulation
This one he was caught though, but his rep will take a while to shed.

Yes, he was caught, but he went own way too easily. If a scoring chance had remained, he would have stayed on his feet.
His reputation precedes him.
The culture of cheating in football is just terrible, and a great shame. Do they have no self-respect? Bale, of course, is far from alone in this.

BANZAI ANNOUNCED
http://www.oddschecker.com/basketball/nba/nba-championship/winner
Golden State Warriors 139/1 to win the NBA title.
They are currently 20-10 on the season and are lying 5th in the Western Conference only 4 wins behind the #1 team in NBA. They are showing that they are a very well balanced team and can beat anyone on any given night.
They are also good on the road (which will be huge in the playoffs as its a best of 7 and the higher seed gets home court advantage with 4 out of 7 at home) They are 9-4 at home and 11-6 on the road which of course means they have more home games to come.
The only thing that is letting them down at the minute is they are allowing too many points with only the 20th best defence in the league (out of 30) BUT they have their best defender (Andrew Bogut) sidelined since the 3rd week of the season or something. So when he returns they will be a much stronger defensive unit.
It is a massive banzai, but anything can happen in the playoffs (which im almost 100% they will make) and they play very well and could cause some shocks. They have already beaten the leaders in both the eastern and western conferences on the road this year.
Suggest £2.50 @ 139/1 with betfair
Anyone who watches NBA think Clippers are still value @ 10/1 or have I waited too long and price is too short now?

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Good luck Adam!
Must confess, 8-fold Accas are not exactly my thing. Once a nit, always a nit.
I'll be funking for you though.

I'll look at that later Tom, & may well set fire to 50/-
When is that defensive whizzkid chap due to return?
