I can't see Ba in Coral's list of players to leave/stay with their clubs.

He was on the list when I posted? Haven't checked this morning.

Re jigging the odds or taken him off?

Morning Waz.

Sorry I missed that yesterday, though I admit, I don't much like those sorts of markets, & the likelihood is that we would have been restricted to £10 or £20. Even so, it would have been a free bet, as it was nailed-on imo.

I'd be surprised if the market is still up this morning, given the overnight goss.

it isn't on the site anymore you're right.  My brother got £125 on it before it went!

£125? Jeez!

I assumed it would be Restricted to pennies.

Well done him.

he's pretty chuffed!

What with this "tip" and my port vale being ignored too, I'm now taking all this personally. I'm obviously not liked!   Grin Wink

Daily BFC Manager Update:

All the books re-opened this morning and it's confirmed to me that everyone is blindly fumbling around for information, which is making the prices so erratic.  Micky Mellon (ex Fleetwood) has appeared as 2nd favourite now, behind Flitcroft, as it looks as though he's assisting with tomorrow's game (and he's declared his interest in the permanent job).

Prices are all over the place as a result:
                                        Sky                                    BV                   StanJ
David Flitcroft          8/15                4/7          1/3
Micky Mellon          5/2                5/2
Uwe Rosler          12                6          4
Sean ODriscoll          9                14          5

The main thing for me is that there are a couple of reports confirming SOD's interest in the role, hence I still like the 14/1 with BV.  Rosler's been linked in other reports but I think this is far less likely as we'd need to pay compensation to Brentford to get him.  SOD all the way for me!

The damage has been done, I have heard rumours of very nasty goings on in the family's and friends section. Taylor lost a lot of fans last night and in his post quarter final interview. I guess his true colours that have been masked by sky and the PDC have been shown in all their ugliness. All aboard the MVG express!

N1 Tighty.

Just checked betfair after the nights Perfect Storm of results expecting a big change in 49ers price, yet it is still a midges dick bigger than when bet originally suggested.

Are the punting world not seeing what we are seeing. Am I missing some nuances to all this?

Many thanks

Thanks Adz.

The 49ers are now 6/1.

We already have a monstrous £250 invested, being £150 @ 6.8, & £100 @ 8.4, so we stand to win - or lose - a chunk already, but if the assembled NFL experts wanted more, I guess we would have to give it thought. In truth, I think £250 is enough, I don't want to get to the point where I feel uncomfy with how much we have invested. The amounts we bet here don't take me out of my little comfort/enjoyment zone, but if we bet bigger, it might.

Just wanted to say I hope your darts bet comes in tomorrow guys.

Not had the best Sports betting in the last few months so going to concentrate on the poker....  Maybe see some of you in Jan at DTD or Edinburgh.

Have a Good New Year All  & wake me up when QPR are relegated.

Peace x

Thanks very much Fraser, & HNY to you, too.

I'll wake you in mid-March......

Afternoon Mr T.

I have spent a bit of time trying to justify a bet on low points in the Dragons/Ospreys game today and it really does look likely. But I am going to go for a riskier bet. The last 4 meetings between these sides have gone to the home side. Certainly the Ospreys are the better side but playing away and in the rain are a great leveller. Also the Ospreys are without Tipuric a good and very influential player. I think it is worth taking a shot on the Dragons to win this game as we are getting a good price. They really shouldn't be any bigger than 2-1 today but we can get 7/2.

Suggest £20 Dragons @ 7/2 Blue Square and £5 the draw @ 20-1 Betfred

PS The game is today at 4.15pm

Morning h.

A riskier bet?

Have you shed your Nit-Cloak?!

I shall get on shortly, but I'm pleased you mentioned it was today, as I was under the impresion that there was no sport today, & thus we could wrap up the December Account.

OK Bazza, we will, down you you.

Thanks.

I'll keep an eye on the market, & dive in if PT touches Evens.

That will save me having an off-thread saver, too.

No sport today Mr T? You don't look hard enough. I have had a nice tennis coup already this morning in a new stereotype market. I bet against the large female tennis player as I thought she would have eaten a lot over the Xmas holidays and not be very fit. She was playing against a Swedish player who as we all know would only have eaten some fish. A quick 2 sets to 0 victory and a 3-1 winner. Stereotype betting FTW.

Thanks H, we are safely aboard.

Remarkably, Blue Square rejected my bet, "Stake too high". (£20 @ 7/2!). It appears Blue Square think I am an ex Ice-Cream. Bit of a shame really, as I like that site, but I have run rather good on there recently.

Anyway, we got the same price with Sporting Bet, in fact I placed both bets with them as the prices matched your suggestion.

Dragons to beat Ospreys, £20 @ 7/2, Sporting Bet.

Draw, £5 @ 20/1, Sporting Bet.
