Ooh, so close for Delia's barmy army. This was a rebuff?

The one you Posted on Jan 2nd?

That was for Norwich to score 4 or more. Easy rebuff, I sensed 3 maximum......

Was it you who tipped Wolves to beat Luton? Probably, IMO.

Love that NFL Post Phil

Not heard that rookie QB thing before.

Why must they not throw the ball into the crowd? (GBP excepted, obv).

Can  you imagine a rule in football which every team abided by except Man Utd because in the past they have celebrated the same way for 50 years. There would be uproar.

The Packers are the team of the exemptions!

Their ownership structure is unique, in that they're the only team with multiple shareholders, which I believe also contravenes the NFL's rules but was grandfathered in for them when these were put in place.  The rules surrounding their share ownership is interesting too as, IIRC, no-one is allowed more than one share and they can't be sold on after purchase, so they're a fairly unique investment.

There is a delay of game penalty and they include some over zealous spiking of the ball after a TD if the ball ends up going a long way. if you group celebrate (which I think means more than 2/3 players doing a pre determined celebration together) say three in a line doing the baby rocking arms that you see a lot in football then that is a taunting penalty. So throwing the ball into the crowd after scoring is a delay of game penalty. Yet in Green Bay the officials just stand and wait until the scorer throws himself into the crowd, gets mobbed by fans and some of his own team and then leaves the ball in the crowd.

Didn't Brett Favre do a Shearer when he failed a drug test due to what he claimed was pain killer addiction. I think he said he would sue the NFL if they prosecuted him because they had helped cause the addiction in the first place.

Seems a shame to be slating the Packers on the best weekend of the season. The Lambeau leap makes the fans very happy and is great viewing imo. Favre was a legend and a big part of why I love the game, it´s a real shame how that was dealt with, he was a flawed man in some ways but an incredible QB.

He deffo was, I too love GB as a team because of him. Not mean't to be anti GB, just following the convo really but imo it is unfair that penalty rules are different for one team. If Andre catches a TD in Houston tonight and hurls the ball into the crowd and then jumps in to be hugged and is accompanied by some of his team mates he will get a penalty. If James Jones does it in the next game the officials will wait for him to finish before restarting the game. Just seems a bit daft to me.

Do you like anything 2night mate?

I really like the under in the first game tonight. I missed the 44.5 earlier in the week due to being an idiot but I'm pretty happy with my bet at 43.5. The line is generally now 42.5 but you can get 10/11 on Betfair under 43.5. I think I have almost enough on, so help yourself.

The second game is interesting. It looks like an obviois let-down spot for the Vikes and dome teams do badly away outdoors. The earlier sharp money has generally been on Gb -7 at 5/6 but also some sharp syndicates are on Vikes +8. The line has popped up at 9.5 with the dog at 4/5 on Pinny (a move to avoid advantage teasers as I'm sure you'll have realised Tikay). It seems likely that the line could touch 9 at 10/11 by the off and that would get my money.

I like the rushing game of Minny here and I wouldn't be that surprised if they won the game.

Just the 2 I mentioned earlier for the 1st game, quite keen on the unders and I like Foster at 5/1 for the first TD. How about you, any strong fancies? I very much agree with your analysis of the point spread in that game.

I don´t have anything for the late game and might do the unthinkable and not stay up for it (still lacking sleep from an epic New Years Eve party), I prefer to be on the other side of the Atlantic this time of year, I just love the wildcard weekend.

I don't fancy anything strongly unless that Houston line falls a little more.  have a few sweats on each game for my BF book so could do with Houston, Minny, Indy and Washington winning as they are bigger winners than their oppo's  and in some spots make the teams near the top shorter which would be good. tho in the Wash and Minny cases it isn't much of a difference. Baltimore are the loser in the book at the moment, so Indy would be my best result of the weekend. I will be cheering Foster first td in a Houston win and the under now tho.

There is a good chance I hit the NFL wall this year to be honest Kuku, it was a market I manned pretty much all thru August watching pre season games and market moves and then set off like a house on fire. Then the markets/ hcaps and player props settled down and the  last month or so I just haven't had much of a feel for it and the bets I have had went badly. I do think too many fantasy teams and pick em games took up too much time too, deffo need to cut down on those to get thru next season in better shape. I deffo learned a lot of different techniques this season just by reading how other people approached their NFL betting and having their opinion to read thru.

Thread is great for learning things other than the actual betting which is great too.

I almost went to the Atlanta game next weekend ( tickets were still going for about 170 bucks in midweek as I deffo need a rest but didn't fancy the travelling. Instead I'm off to Bruges to check out the architecture and the nooks and crannies.

If I didn´t have a job I loved I´d offer to relieve you for some of next season ;-). I´ve watched a lot of Indy this season and think Luck is very special, they still have it all to do though in Baltimore I think. I´ll be rooting for your preferred results, although I´m sure you´ll understand I won´t be supporting Washington.

Have a great time in Bruges!

This line won´t last long, I do like the unders in the Cincy @ Houston game. Given Neil likes it too I think we should have 44 pounds on under 43 @ 10/11 with Coral: Cincy @ Houston.
