Even money Villa tonight?

Any thoughts?

Looks on the big side to me.

It is a ridiculous price IMO.

me three (or is it four or five now?)

i assumed they would be 4-6ish here

when they have been hammered recently it is due to defensive and wide naivety, with respect bradford should not really exploit this as easily

Villa banged in 3 v tranmere who were top of league 1, 4 v man city away who were unbeaten, and 3 away to stoke who knocked out brighton and stoke?.

They are dire, but fancy them to nick it 1-0.

Villa tonight.

Well the heavyweights have weighed in with their view, unanimously, (& I was completely wrong it seems) so we will get on, but the original recommend belongs to Aaron.

PS - No chirping please Aaron, right? Wink

Thoughts on Villa?

I had them at the weekend and just got there, but fancy them again tonight at Bradford.

They have quite a few players back from injury now, will be putting a full side out and are close to a final. I think they will turn up here and beat Bradford by a few goals here. They are best priced at 68/67 with Pinnacle, but odds on everywhere else to the tune of 10/11 on Oddschecker, but when you actually check the actual bookie themselves, they are a lot smaller. I'd get on with Pinnacle at £50. Think price is just good enough.

PS - Didn't put a 100% side out for Ipswich, so was able to rest a couple of players, by the looks of it. So should have some fresher legs.

OK Aaron, all the lads are with you on this, rarely do we see such universal approval of a bet, so we have invested a little.

We have £42 @ 20/21 with BetVictor, Villa to beat Bradford this evening.

Hate to say it now, but didn't fred lose a chunk on backing the PL side v Bradford in the last round?

Or was that just me?

Not that I recall David, though I'm not wholly sure that it relevant. I do recall the bet being put up though. I think we swerved it.

The last time we backed a match with Bradford in it was a BTS v Wycombe, which was postponed.

If you know the rough date of the game, it will be on the Spready below. (Click the "Month" Tabs at the bottom).

Does anyone think that the match tonight being the first of a two-legged semi-final makes any difference to the way that the teams might perform?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

In fact you are, of course, 100% correct, go to the top of the class.

11th December, Arsenal -1.

That did not go quite to plan, as I recall.

Benteke to score and Villa to win is at 2-1, but I know Fred doesn't like doubles of some sort, but there for anyone who is interested in that.

I expect a completely full Villa side out tonight, can't see them messing about with this so close to a trophy and expect them to just scrape a win against Bradford. I definitely think EVS is value here.

Good luck to everyone tonight!

I know you are on a roll Aaron, but don't push it!

2/1 about Villa to win + Benteke to score looks like no value at all to me!

Yeah it is relevant but not massively so imo.  There is almost zero chance Villa overlook this game in any way.  Relegation worries aside this is their season.  They are getting some of their better players back now and, at the end of the day, they are a Premiership side versus a league 2 side.  Last night Everton, a Premiership side played a League 2 side and were 4/5 -1.5 goals.  Obviously I understand that Everton are a better team than Villa (although you could argue Cheltenham are better than Bradford too) but there was more chance of Everton overlloking that game than there is here.  It just doesn't make a great deal of sense to me and I think it is part of the overreaction against Villa in general but they haven't been too bad in the last few games but I think the fact they lost a few high profile games heavily means they are getting bet against a little too heavily.  I think they should be 4/5 here.

MASTERS SNOOKER 2013

i would recommend a small wager on Shaun Murphy (available at 10s).  been very consistent in Televised events recently.  Trump far too short at 7/2.

Smurph is 11's in places, but Coral refund up to £100 if Trump wins, he's 10's there.

He also struggled in some short best of 5 Championship League snooker yesterday and said on twitter ''I'm useless off camera'', or to that effect.
