A friend of a friend is a big punter. He doesn't bet often. But when he does it's the sort of amount that scares the bejeezus out of me. He has a pretty good rate and I generally go with his selections.
My friend text me to say this chap had "a big bet" on Stoneys Treasure.
Having got some on myself, I let my dad know, as he's flicking through the Sun card. His response? "Well there's a horse against it that was beaten favourite in a 25,000 race last time out. Against this field, he has to be a bet against yours."
Obviously his pick clears the last and wins by three lengths.
Picking the right data to focus on in horse racing is a blinking nightmare!

Destined to be a near miss unless we get that bit of luck
Meanwhile Racing Metro v Saracens hits the overs after half an hour!

Walters two own goals in his game today.
Pulls level with Carragher and Sinclair.
Still needs one more to catch up with van den Buys from the Belgian league.

This 1st NFL game (broncos/Ravens) is going to be held in quite cold weather. I personally don't think it should effect the score that much but I was leaning towards under. The line is heading towards 43 and you can bet 10/11 under 46 with Hills. I think that is a very good bet.

Sadly, we hit this with the over 4 goal Banzai, finished 4-0 with Bristol C not even rousing themselves for a consolation which of course we needed

I agree and surely this means Baltimore are a solid bet with a huge start (9.5) too? Low scoring and close I think. Need to be quick with the points, it won´t last long.

...also Paddy Power have an offer where you get money back on total points if one team leads at half time and fails to win.
They offer 45 on the San Fran/Green Bay game. I love the under and it is the kind of game that could trigger their offer.

Don't suppose there's any real weight in the 'Manning's 0-3 in play-offs in the cold' stat other than for pub chat. Is it just who Indy would have been playing then?
