Podolski and the Ox are both out injured for the Gunners today.
It'd be great to see a strong 90 minutes from Diaby a la Anfield performance..
Ive always said it will be a cold day in hell before The Donkey Diaby wins us a match.................it is pretty chilly out there........ Obviously still nowhere near cold enough........Enough Wenger......sigh

reminds me of the old guy who played for our local division 2 side every thursday
he had been playing for at least 50 years and basically kept on playing until the bitter end . Towards the end he could not pot for toffee but knew every "angle" and safety in the book.
he always without fail played the young kiddie on the other side who was just starting out and was a decent player but was not prepared for a two hour frame
good memories
Haha, my dad let me start playing in our county league when I was about 11 years old and it took me a season or two to get accustomed to the old foxes his favourite thing to do was when he potted a fairly simple red and had a fairly easy black on was to get the black safe as early as possible " he wont get to far ahead now lads" Love it Horse, when getting a decent start in a match the first thing I did after potting a red was put one of the big colours safe. This only changed if I had a pretty easy pot on the colour. As soon as the other guy starts moaning you know you have the upper edge. yes he loved it i must admit i was only 17 at the time and me and my best mate did not always appreciate a frame lasting at least 60 minutes when it was already 10.45pm and another match due on He used to be a very good county player in his youth and now i can appreciate the incredible determination he had to win every single frame. We also had another old guy who played the opposite and would play like stevie wonder for half the frame then all of a sudden smash a few in and nick the odd frame. He also told me the same story about when he "met" Tommy Cooper every week without fail for four years this reminds me of an old boy in the local club. He knocked out the club pro by the name of Mattew Couch in a handicap match in contraversial circumstances. Johnny had managed to put all the high colours in un pottable positions through out the match and had made quite a pigs ear of the table. They were down to the last red and Matthew had already started to claw the many snookers he needed with some expert play and use of the free ball rule. Johnny was a wiley old wascal, goes down to shoot at the last red and blasts it, jumps up and leaves his cue on the table wedged in the pocket. Of course the red comes off 3 cushions hits Johnny's cue and runs into the pocket. Uproar ensues and despite Matthews insistence the red gets re spotted the ref disagrees and Matthews head just goes. I wish Matthew had not sold the club to my mate G-Man. G-man barred me for life within a week of owning the club. Go figure, me getting a ban. Think its pretty bad sportsmanship all these stories...

yes terrible sportsmanship to play the game to your advantage and the disadvantage of your opponent.

By putting the cue on the table to get rid of the last red on the table? You don't think that is poor form? I've put colours safe playing better players but not if I have an easy pot on. I play snooker to win but also for the night out with the team, players taking hours to finish their frames on purpose when ppl have work the next day or a half hour drive back home is poor form IMO too.

agreed with cue on table
if the other player is not good enough to capitalise on the negative tactics then they should improve there game or work out a way to play back against it

Herbie´s example is different as it´s just flat out cheating and not really any different to if he just picked up the ball. The other examples are fine imo.

Just bet 10/11 under 50.5 M Turner rushing with Ladbrokes. Pretty heavily restricted but I thought it was a good bet & they did the annoying knock-back & not change it thing so I thought I'd post it.

I probably should have aimed my post at the cue on table rather than the whole bunch of posts. Your examples are similar to me smashing into the pack against an old boy and spreading the reds, knowing he can usually only make a teen break at most then taking it straight to him....

exactly you have that choice a lot of that time it was adjusting his pace which threw the opponents rather than anything else

banzai alert
ghan vs dr congo (kick off in 10 minutes)
suggest £2.50 eway Cédric Mongongu first scorer (dr congo) bet365 100-1 (betvictor 90-1 is fine)
centre back
has 3 goals in only 14 games in the top french league this season
price to big for somebody who has shown they can score
bet365 prefered as unlimited eway terms
