Ideally you would have to strip the market down and get the % out of it to get nearer the combined prices and of course you have to agree that Lewis is that short and the rest of the non QB and RB are about the right prices ( which they won't all be) but even still to have an error like that on a two markets side by side is terrible.

I actually got distracted mid post and added in James and Pierce to the others list but you get my drift.

Just posted this in another thread but wanted to draw attention to the regulars of this thread to it. 8/15 for Villa not to concede from a set piece tonight, found out this is a telephone only market with Bet365 but thought there might be some interest here as it seems very good value to me.

http://www.bet365.com/news/en/betting/press-releases/fa-cup---villa-set-to-go-to-pieces-in-the-lions-den

Thanks Biloxi, & welcome to the Thread, your first Post here I believe, though I've seen you in the Dastardly Nits Thread.

How did you come to use that weird alias - is there a tale behind it?

I have no idea if that bet is value or not, & Mr Bet365 will not accommodate me at the best of times, but maybe some other lads will fancy a bit.

Bit weird they offer a "Telephone Only" Market, given it is so costly to do telephone betting as opposed to Internet, which has a far lower cost base. Guess they have a cunning motive somewhere.

Cheers tikay, I'm not sure why it's telephone only but I've just had a small nibble at £30 myself. As for the alias it's a combination of two Gaslight Anthem songs, Biloxi Parish & Desire, I found that it was pretty much free everywhere I wanted to sign up to as it has no real meaning/makes any sense!

Biloxi, TGA is in that Biffy Clyro bracket of post-punk, long wet hair and tattoos that I find a bit too forgettable. TGA I'd put above Biffy, mind (I know there are some Biffy-lovers on these boards...). However, they did do this, which I'd put next to Kaiser Chiefs' version of Heard It Through The Grapevine in the musical faux-pas folder:

Yeah, not a big fan of any of the covers they've done. Got tickets to see them in Leeds in March and saw them in Birmingham in October. Not a fan of Biffy Clyro at all though.

Regarding the bet, Danny Shittu from a corner, very disappointingly, seems the odds were better value than expected but that doesn't always mean it's going to be a winner.

Second bet I like this weekend would be Watford at forest.  You can back watford at 2/1 right now, or the draw no bet at 23/20.  Forest aren't on a great run right now, Watford in great form.  Seems to be quite a big price to me.  I can add stats and form later but on my phone right now and am abit presses for time.

Not forgotten this Mr Sparrow, I'll sort the rest of the football stuff in the morning.

As you may have seen, Bradford & Wycombe is off.

Sorry got abit distracted, yeah i saw the bradford v wycombe game is postponed unfortunately.  I think that was a good bet.

Some more to add to the watford bet, I think the price on them is generous, for both the win and the draw no bet. Watford are in great form, especially Vydra who is scoring plenty of goals (8 in his last 4 starts) and have just dispatched huddersfield 4-0.  They play very well away from home, and are the leagues top scorers away from home. Forest aren't a bad side, they also have a very decent striker in Billy Sharpe, and have just signed Henderson from Millwall.  They also have a new manager in Alex Mcleish, i dont rate him that highly though.

Bookies have obviously included recent form etc into the price, so no real need to go into that.  I think watford have the better squad, better manager, and they are in better form than forest.  Added to that they have just had a nice 4 day break in Spain for a training camp.  I personally think this will have refreshed them, however there can be arguements for that break to have given them a nice taste of some sunshine in this cold spell we are currently under, and they may not feel like coming out and playing in the cold tomorrow.

Other than the two bets above, i do think there will be goals in this game and over 2.5 at 4/5 isn't a terrible price, especially as of the last 6 games for each side (12 games each) 11 have gone over 2.5 and only one has gone under, being a 1-1 draw.

I don't know if fred would like to bet any of the three bets that I think are ok, so i'd like some opinions if possible.

Would be good to know the shirts at half-time in that rugby Tikay (or anyone). If you can keep us up to date with that in the 2nd half that would be great too (planet rugby not working for me nor SPIN and sportinglife.com not covering it).

Great spot on the MVP Phil.

It is covered here, Neil. I'll try to work the shirts out shortly, bear with me.
