Hills went 3/1 Murray to win first set and Match yesterday, looked a decent bit of value, shame I didn't get on.
Cook 207
Bell 191*
Root 163*
At drinks, usually a Wicket falls about now, lets hope it's Root.

If anyone wants to get out the Bell bet, bet under 97.5 Runs for Bell, can win both lines.

At 71 Bell needs 16 more for the bet to win, with the departure of Root

He has 77 now.
Great idea by Snowy for the potential scoop, but my fingers are way too slow, and I'm too busy zapping between channels with the remote already.
Fred only had small money involved, but amazing how much fun can be squeezed from small bets. I truly would not enjoy it so much if big money was involved.

This giant table tennis looks like it could be dominating the BBC schedule for another 3 hours.

Anyone know who Jerome Boger is?
Well played Tighty (he must know). This man is going to be the lead referee in the Super Bowl.
The average number of points in NFL games this year was 45.7.
The average number of points in games where Jerome Boger's team officiated was 41.3 (second lowest in league from 17 teams of officials).
The average total (closing line on the total) in games officiated by Jerome Boger's crew was 45.2.
The reason the scores were lower in his games was because he called more offensive holding penalties than most of the other referees. Sometimes a lineman would get multiple penalties in situations where another referee would do nothing.
Obviously Mr Boger will be working with a different bunch of guys to usual.
If I was leaning towards the under this would definitely help to sway me.
Are there other ways this information can be used that I haven't thought of?
Appreciate any help.
Penalty yards Neil, strangely enough I think Tikay broke his pen yards virginity in a game Boger's officiated, the 49ers v Packers game.

Boger is a very officious man, with a deep southern drawl that laconically pronounces the penalties to tilt all and sundry
Important to note he is given a new crew for the play offs (the highest graded officials through the season get given the superbowl)
As the highest graded officials are those that have generally given the fewest incorrect flags, and spotted the most penalties - there were a lot of rule changes this season - you would expect penalty incidence to be higher in the superbowl

yes, it was strange not having the reg crews with the main ref, The guy that officiated one of the games( Denver v Balti I think ) doesn't have his own crew, he had been on medical leave for years and was being used as a 'floater' and reffing games with the other officials crew during the season and the play offs.
Generally I would lean to the more important the game is the more likely the pens will be higher than usual, tho things like teams that pass the ball deep a lot give you more chance of the golden pass int yards if you have played the over

More flags generally=more points. It's specifically more offensive holding penalties that is good for bears of points. I haven't looked at these teams for total penalties yet, but I'm unsure as to whether it's going to be as simple as going over (assuming they give us the teams average as a number).
