Daily Report as @ 0900, Tuesday February 5th
We lost £20 yesterday.
The loss was a bit odd, & may be contested. We were on a Portugese football match, we wanted a home win, the game was abandoned late on due to fog with the game tied at 0-0, but the bet has been settled by Bet365 as a loser.
That apart, & after the crushing anti-climax of Sunday night, it was good to see the positive spirit remained, & we placed a few interesting wagers.
We had two By-election wagers, & the market seems to have settled down now, with the Tories @ 5/4 (we have 6/4) & UKIP @ 8/1 (we have 12/1).
Surprisingly, perhaps, the Lib Dems remain 11/10 favourites. All very odd.

We placed a Darts bet for the 2014 PDC World's, from Bazza, who gave us MVG.
We were tipped a horse by horsey at 16/1, we missed the price but had a dabble at 10/1, today's price is 5/1. It runs - reasonably quickly, we hope - at 15.40 today.
We are on Napoli to win Serie A @ 5/1, best price now is 7/2.

Tikay, my bet has been voided by Bet365 so I would suggest that you get on to them to settle it in the same way, there should be no way it should be settled as a loser

You (& the Typhoon bloke) are correct.
I just re-visited "My Account" with a view to contacting Customer Care, & they have now voided it.
So that is good news, & I can write the £20 back into tomorrow's numbers. Gives us a £20 Freeroll for the day!
Here is the Statement.....

I believe the match is being completed today, restarting on 76 mins, so for betfair punters the bet is still in play. From their rules -
- If a match starts but is later abandoned or postponed and is not completed (i.e. 90 minutes of play according to the match officials, plus any stoppage time) within three days of the scheduled start date, all bets will be void except for those on markets which have been unconditionally determined.

Would be hard to see anything but a 0-0 carrying on from 76 minutes.

Looking ahead to the Six Nations fixtures this weekend, the odds for italy to beat Scotland to me stood out straight away at 6/4. I wouldnt consider Scotland at 4/6 even though they are at home. Also, though it goes against the forum bet of Ireland to win the 6 Nations, and against my own feelings being Irish, I feel England are a good bet at evens to do us over. Thoughts welcome, though I realise the England pick may not suit all??
Thanks spudy.
We need our Rugby chaps to comment on this.
As a bit of a chirp aside, I spent two whole days recently with this chap. Jeez, his upper body looks strong in real life. I decided it would be best if we got along well, & I did not argue with him.

Thanks (& WellChief).
In which case, if they play again today, will the bet be "unvoided"?

Abandonments are most normally replayed in their entirety. Hence current bets are voided
I once was at a non-league match, we were winning 2-0 after 88 minutes and the floodlights went
The game was abandoned, replayed from the start weeks later and we lost

Sorry that was really poorly worded. I don't think that they can "unvoid" bets. What I was trying to say was if the match continues from 76 minutes at 0-0 then I can't see any team having the impotence to go on and score in the remaining 15 minutes.

It does seem very odd to re-start the game on 77 minutes.

Scotland showed some potential to me, and are at home. Wouldn't back them odds-on though, and not sure whether Italy will finally make the breakthrough this season
Ireland v Enland is a genuinely tough one. Ireland at home, and Sexton will kick points all game to keep them at least in touch. England looked genuinely impressive at times at the weekend and should be Championship favourites. I think this game will be +/- 5 points either way
Only thing I confidently expect this weekend is France to turn up, put a performance in and beat Wales comfortably. Albeit Howley will presumably make a better fist of team selection than picking the out of form guys
France are 1/3 though, and -7 on the handicap, so outwardly their bounce-back is priced in

I know you meant impetus but that made me smile

I can confidently say it won't be. In fact I have never known this to happen
