I noticed that Bet365 had refunded someone on the Botha fight.

We bet it with BetVictor, so I just checked the account - they also VOIDED the bet.

Almost feels like a winner!

Whilst I had "My Account" open at BetVictor, I thought I'd check if the Splash Bet had been settled yet.

 13/01/2013 GBP 50.00 Single: YES @ 2/1 Returns: £150.00

Wow, we are having a good morning!

The Tighty Sixes bet won by a distance, the Botha bet got voided, & the Splash bet has been paid out.

Check your stashes, seems like the sort of day that there'd be a lump of cash you'd forgotten about.

I spoke last night about Eden Park, the T20 being played on a rugby ground tomorrow with short straight boundaries

I tried to get a better depiction of the strange dimensions of this for cricket

and the stadium site shows the above which gives you an idea, showing the rugby pitch and the cricket boundaries

Including the England Tour last in 2008, the following T20s have been played in Auckland

2008 Eng 13 sixes
2008 W Indies 14 sixes
2010 Pakistan 16 sixes
2012 Zimbabwe 13 sixes
2013 S Africa 12 sixes

the 16 sixes game was remarkable, as 143 included 7 sixes, 146 won it with 9 sixes

For the nit, Ladbrokes will offer you over 11.5 tomorrow at 4/6. Given steady extraneous factors (waether etc) this is really a 1/2 shot.

The drop in pitch is light in colour and looks a belter

For a sporting chance with Sporting bet, over 15 at 11/8

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/new-zealand-v-england/t20-series/new-zealand-v-england-%5B1st-t20%5D/total-6s

BUMPED for the purposes of enjoying an Awesome Recommend.

21 sixes in the end in the cricket, and that's with England bowling exceptionally

Next T20 is in Hamilton, another small ground with boundaries 60-65 metres, and another drop in belter pitch

Interesting to see what the under-over is set at for that game

Anything under 15 might be a go-er

Never really been one for the half time/full time bets, but I'm curious about the pricing in the Spurs - Newcastle game.

Spurs are 8/11 best price today.

There are three ways spurs can win, of course, and the best prices around for the three half time markets are with betfair:

Spurs: 31/18
Draw: 42/10
Newcastle: 50

Am I miscalculating or is there some money in this market?

Hull won 1-0 eight times last season, five of those on the road.

This season they've already won four times by the same score, including against Brighton.

They are the ultimate grind-out team. Not really my sort of bet but stats would suggest this should be shorter than 9/1 tonight.

Thanks Chomps, will look at that shortly, & after feedback.

Looks a bet to me, maybe £10 or £20, but deffo interested.

Daily Report as @ 0955, Saturday February 9th

We made a profit of £105 over the two days, most pleasing.

There was only one loser, being the Darts Bet. Dwayne never actually Recommend it on here, he was a bit coerced, so I've taken ownership of that bet in my own name.

The Botha Boxing Bet became a Void, so money back.

Tighty's Sixes Bet absolutely sailed in. As Chairman on the Fred Ice Cream Society, we should al learn from the way Tighty thinks about situations. I'm not sure many of us would have thought the way he did on this one.  +£50.

Another lateral thinker in Doobs came up with the Splash bet, & I know several of you followed him in. +£100. Amazing bet, & he really did swim against the tide with that one.

A good couple of days then, & February is going along very nicely.

Saturday today, when we often have painful days. We want a few bets, but remember, we don't HAVE to bet, & we should always try to look for those left-field ones where the value is.

Have a great weekend lads.*

* I'm not sure - possibly "Exstream" apart - that we have any female Freddies, do we? Maybe Camel needs to do a job on Chili.

Kudos to BV, I've had no joy getting my stake back from WH yet.

No joy from SkyBet either, they are point blank refusing to void the bet.

I think congratulations are in order this morning.

One Freddie has just passed the £1,000 Profit mark, this is the first time anyone here has done that.

He has placed bets to the tune of £1,071, & they have returned a profit of £1,003.50. This was over 28 bets.

His ROI is an amazing 93.7%. (Fred is 2.3%).

OK, the sample size is not huge, but still a pretty stunning figure.

Congrats, & thanks for all the advice he gives us, even from his grumpy couch some days, go to Doobs.

If you go to google Images, & type in "Doobs", the top line of photos includes these two.

Perhaps Doobs is a closet female?
