Proper team on University Challenge tonight.
I'll be woodpushing tonight instead, sadly, but will watch it later.
I imagine a good jumper or two will be on display. On the telly; not at my chess match. No good jumpers in chess matches.

Now I know I set the tone at quite a high level, but that was a seriously steep plummet.

Doncaster game. I don't have the historical data pricewise or ability to get it but I'm sure he'd be about 11-12/1 normally. There are other midfielders who are less likely to score (Bennett) are shorter prices. He has scored 30 in 304 games for Doncaster, not sure if thats enough to make 14/1 value for fgs.

Thanks Marky.
I was not thinking of getting on, I'm not mad keen on FGS markets, but some folks might fancy a dabble.
Crawley Donny it is.
I have a fancy for Donny tonight actually.

Squad are weakened hence the drift today despite oddschecker showing Doncaster as the more popular bet. 365 went 9/4 earlier and i nearly recommended us then but wanted to see team news which looks ok atm, shame Hume is out though.

Ahh, that explains the seemingly generous price. All things being equal, I had them a bit either side of 13/8. Very impressive away form.

I'm quite keen on Tiger this week in the Accenture World Match-play thingy.
His swing looked very good to me in the event that he played in the US, as good as I've seen it in seven or eight years and he loves match-play. I think this might be the first time in ages that he's gone into one of these events fully fit and firing on all cylinders.
I managed to get matched @ 13.5 on betty but still like the look of 13.
Happy for you to receive more feedback from the golfing gurus first but I would recommend a medium-sized wager @13.
Think it is interesting one this week. For me Rory makes the field. He hasn't played much with these new clubs and when he did he stunk. Tiger is playing well and could re-emerge this year as a clear world number one in which case this could look big for sure. I like Kaymer at 40-1 e/w. He has the right kind of temperament for these events and has finished runner up before. I also think he is coming back into form. He had a couple of decent top tens to start the season before putting in a bad start lto but he has never done well at that course so it doesn't concern me too much and he seems very confident in the interviews I have read. He was world number one only 2 years ago and if he got back to anything like that form he would be a genuine 16/1 shot here.

Crawley is also a tough place to go. Play to a style, robust, physical etc
That said, if held over a cliff and forced to a bet, Donny at over 2-1 would interest me.
Nothing in Man U/Reading that appealed to me
With DiCanio having just gone and Swindon playing tomorrow night, has anyone seen Swindon much? How much did they play over themselves for DiCanio, and how likeyl are they to miss him?

I like Reading a lot, but I think they should be bigger than 9/1, personally.
Happy to take feedback from wiser counsel.
