No, no I was being facetious. I just meant it would be his PR team that runs it. They probably just get him to sign off on tweets. I doubt he is actually very hands-on.

He'll definitely know it exists - some kind of directive from Tory I believe - but it'll be his staff that run it. Hope they provide him with a daily summary of comment he receives.

It's far from a certainty but equally it's not a 10-1 shot. I'm tempted to open a Lads account just to put it on! Looks like a max £25 anyway, but I've seen many worse 10-1 shots - and backed them.

OK, you got me, aided by a bit of nudging from Lord Doobs. I think AlunB makes a good point, too, it may well be a "Parody Account" as they are known these days, or something his "people" do for him. Can't really imagine him Tweeting somehow....

I just cannot see how on earth he shoehorns in a Twitter mention.

Anyway, we have speculated a whole £5. Stranger things have happened at worse prices.

I imagine it is value, but this really is a new low if Osbourne mentions Twitter in his speech

As you would imagine I have fairly strong feelings about it! To be honest I can't comment on the scrums, and I think it's reasonable of him to ask about it. But the public manner in which he has done so would be foolish if he weren't the Lions forward coach and downright pathetic if, as it turns out, that is exactly what he is.

How is he going to motivate players he is calling out in the press as cheats? I hope he's just been quoted out of context or else he's a massive idiot.

Also he's questioning the validity of this turnover http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-nak5zOMTk Ken Owens is arguably off his feet at one point, but equally you could argue the English player was holding on. Now while you could say it's marginal, it's hardly more than that and it's not worth creating an international incident over particularly in a Lions year.
