Regarding sips of water.

They have the line on 4.

Jokes, he must have had a least 2/3 crafty early sups when the camera panned away due to all the interruptions at the start.

I lost just over £3.

With hindsight, I'd want a "water cam" for when the main camera swtiched to the limelight-hogging Deputy Speaker.

Value:

Macclesfield to win promotion from BlueSq prem  80/1 with PPower & BlueSq.

Basically making them a 22-25/1 shot to make the play-offs.  They are 6 points behind Grimsby, 9 games left, Grimsby are struggling, Forest Green too.  I make them about 8/1 to make the play-offs, it should be a battle between these 3 for the final spot.

£10 @ 80/1 is no harm here.

Thanks Dwayne, no harm at all.

EXCEPT that PP go 22/1, (?) so either they just took a few bets, or I have misread it. Blue Square go 80/1, but only allowed me £3.

BetVictor go 50/1, so I had £5 there, too.

Incidentally, Corals go....14/1!

This seems a big price to me.

Macclesfield have 4 homes out of 9 vs Grimsby's 3 out of 9 and play Grimsby at home (obv a crunch match).  They will need 7 points more than Grimsby as their goal difference is far interior.  Despite that, I think this is a very good bet.

Okies, the price has gone from yesterday, but I'm still gonna float this one up, get some other opinions.

Tote/Baldfred have a market on how many UK Classic winners Aidan O'Brien has in 2013.

9/4 Two
5/2 Three
3 One
9/2 None
9 Four
40 Five

I backed none yesterday at 8/1. They then cut it to 6/1 and someone has obviously had another look at the market since and trimmed again to 9/2.

I'm still inclined to think this is big, though, as I wouldn't want to lay over 2/1.

To put this into context, in four of the last six years Aidan has had zero winners.

This looks a big over-reaction to last season, when he had the machine that is Camelot, as well as a couple of big-priced winners in the two fillies' races.

The 2000 Guineas has an 11/4 favourite in Dawn Appraoach, but he isn't O'Brien's. It's then 8/1 bar.

In the 1000 Guineas it's 8/1 the field.

Kingsbarns is his main hope for the Derby and is 4/1 favourite, but the Derby is way off, while in the Oaks it's 12/1 the field.

For the life of me I can't see how these Tote prices make sense.

As of now, there is still some 50/1 @ BetVictor, & 40/1 @ Bet365. The others go 22/1 & 14/1.

Looks a clever spot Mr W, though it grieves to get on at 9/2 when 8/1 was available yesterday.

Since this thread has made me a few £££, you can have some of my bet at 8/1. This feels unusually generous, think I'm going down with something.

I'll take the other £20 if it's still there?
