and Prior has shepherded the tail to the draw (Broad 6, Anderson 0, Panesar 2 not out), England 9 wickets down!


If anyone was awake that would have been quite the sweat! (for Trott, or if, like me, you had the draw and had given up on it!)

Was looking forward to this morning's squeeze - full on proper squeeze - certain that hector's Trott bet would be a winner.

And you are right, it was a great sweat.

He dived 3 meters too soon and basically crawled home.
When the Ball hit the stumps but didn't dislodge the bails it looked like the Ball hit the stump which had the Camera is fitted onto, this is visibily thicker than a normal stump.I wonder if this made all the difference?

Position reserved & awaits reds, I have taken £40 @ 20/1 with BetVictor, World Series, but will keep the balance for myself if he suggests less.

Daily Summary, @ 0930, Tuesday March 26th (covering three days).

We made Fred history over the last three days - 7 bets completed, ALL 7 LOST.

An eighth bet, on Rugby League, was voided, match postponed, & Sod's Law dictated that hector replaced it with a substitute bet on the Unders in a RU game which won, but I was AWOL & unable to action it.

The loss was.....£155.

It happens, we had value everywhere, variance poked us in the eye, next case. The beauty of being adequately 'rolled, & betting sensibly, within our means, is that these setbacks don't trouble us or cause us angst.  

The Roll of Shame was.....

Gonzaga Bulldogs - what fun that was! -£20.

Anderson, -£40

Trott, -£15

Bell, -£20

Grosjean -£5

Hamilton -£35

Ji-Yai Shin -£20.

So, £75 of that loss was cricket, & another £40 on F1. We are seriously bad at F1, though my Hamilton decision was perhaps ill-judged.

Quite how we bombed all those cricket bets we shall never know, but we did.

On a brighter note......

Our Chess Bet is in tremendous shape, Carlsen is now 1.23, & it is a match with Aronian, who is 5.5. We have Carlsen @ 1.67 ish.

In football, we have £20 @ 12/1 Doncaster to win League One, they are now around 7/4.

We have a bit on Vettel to win the F1 Drivers thing @ 8/5, he is now generally 4/5.

We have two little Banzais on Macclesfield to be promoted from Blue Square Premier, £3 @ 80/1 & £5 @ 50/1, they are now 40/1 tops.

We have nothing at all lined up for today, & hopefully Dubai will be too pre-occupied with Baby Shallow to start putting up any heart-stopping £10,000 @ 1/100 shots, or those dreadful FGS things, on tonights World Cup Qualifying games. Shocking value them.
