Gomez aint starting and Muller is only ok value. I think 3-1 is borderline and wouldnt ever go lower.

Gotze at 4/1 ew is the bet, Reus at 4/1ew is next best

Osvaldo may not start, not generally first choice.

“There is no room for sentiment in what is a results business and when we come to naming the starting XV against Australia the captain won’t be the first guy on the team sheet,” said Gatland. “You can’t get too hung up on these things. Ideally, you would want your tour captain to be there but he’s got to warrant his place and be able to do the job. We’ll have to make a call at the time and if others are playing better, they will be in.”

That statement appears to me a better case for backing O'Driscoll , Ryan Jones, or Heaslip.

The betting market, or at least the one I am on is, "who will be captain in the first Test" rather than the point being made above, who might be the best captain for team unity etc

Crikey. Always read the small print eh? Who would have thought a market called 'British Lions tour captain' would not actually be settled on who will be the british lions tour captain. Ahh bookies. Robbing you wherever they get the chance since 1891

FML.

Do we get our money back if they don't start?

Too late on the Muller price, ugh.

Right, so I've had a quick look and paddys pay out on the official captain, not the captain for the first test and they are 5/1 robshaw. Ladbrokes are **T%&£@ %$£&s

Can the Content Chap from EGR say that? A Bookie needs to be really really good to be EGR Operator of the Year, I gather. Wink

Congrats Alan, pleased for you.

B365 Lions market is first tst captain, though they are currently not offering prices

Those who are offering prices, ignoring William Hill who are up there with weird prices are

Warburton 11/4
Alun Wyn Jones 3/1
BOD 3/1
Robshaw 5/1

Which is all very interesting.

Many a twist in sentiment to come yet.....
