In the IPL today Gayle scored 92 with one leg! I was thinking that might be a good thing and he might a miss a few games with said injury. No chance of that as he said hes good for the next game!

Tikay you were right that the top Indian batter market has been removed.

I'd like to recommend Shaun Marsh as top batsman for Kings XI. He was the best player in the big bash (Aussie version of 2020) this year, really strong player and can comfortably clear the boundary.

Weirdly enough 2 firms have him as they're 3rd/4th favourite. We can get with VC and Stan James.

Now trying to do a bit of research and see why they are so out of line, maybe tighty? cricket lads? can let me know if im missing something.

Former Sheffield Wednesday defender Michael Gray (@mickygray33) cannot believe Scott Parker did not equalise: “wow wow wow Scotty Parker what are u doing??? That is a worse miss than mine surely…!!! #europaleague Scott Parker!!!”

One of my favourite players, and that is a great price but will have to be with Betvictor.

Just done a bit of research, he's injured til the 20th. If fit and playing from the start I make him a 6/4 shot.

No bet Tikay before you do something silly.

Will Hill have just gone 12/1 on Chance Du Roy in the 3.40 at Aintree, limited time offer.

Is 12/1 at corals and Betfair, so doesn't seem massively out of line.

Thanks womble, also to Doobs.

We generally back these blind, due to the perceived value, but this one looksd a little less appealing.

See....

PS - Thanks for letting us know. I'll take advice from the Big Boys as to whether to action this, but if we can get the same price in several spots, I don't quite see the point.

Day 2 IPL update.

The only game yesterday saw our Mumbai Indians lose a thriller to the Bangalore Royal Challengers. We needed 10 off the final over, a position I'd usually expect to be converted, but we fell two runs short after losing two wickets in the first three balls. Though it was a loss, there were plenty of positives and it was only another match winning performance from the world's best T20 batsman which swung the game their way.

The afore mentioned 92 not out from Chris Gayle is not great news for the Marlon Samuels top batsmen bet but he gets his first chance to reply later today when the Pune Warriors get underway again Sunrisers Hydrabad. A big performance would br nice as I believe Fred has also backed Pune at 10s. The game could also feature Luke Wright which has implications for our top Englishman bet.

I'm not completely sure if we have got anything else on at the IPL but let me know and I'll ensure it's covered in future updates.

On this occasion, no.

We were a bit unlucky with Hill's Offer yesterday, we had £50 @ 4/1 & it got touched off on the line, by one of ours as it happens who we got Restricted on! Running bad, bla bla.

I'll Post a list of all our IPL stuff today, so you know exactly what we have.

Top man, thanks.

Betting on name the fav in the National looks well out of date to me, APMcoys mount is 4/1 with Hills, he has chosen Colbert Station. Seabass who was heavily backed last year due to the Katie Walsh factor is 11/4. Both are trading at 12.5 ish on BF behind current fav On his own.

McCoys mount has to be value at 4/1 with Hills, 11/4 Seabass might be an ok saver.

rec 40 or 50 quid  McCoy's mount at 4/1, saver on Seabass to cover the bet or win a little at your choice mate.

just a reminder from yesterday Tony, I would have a little more on Seabass to make them both winners as the market is still badly outdated. Cappa Blue at 12/1 is value too if you wanted a cover bet.

current prices on BF for the front four are
10 on his own
11.5 seabass
12.5 Colb station
13.5 Cappa Bleu

I still think seabass and Colb station will be the higher profile horses 2morrow tho.

Not sure if this matters in the grand scheme of your Aintree betting because I haven't looked at today's card yet, but...

Ladbrokes giving your money back if your horse finishes second by a length or less in all of today's races.

EDIT - Just read T&C's and it's not 'money back' as such.  It's 'free bet' up to £25.

Ta Phil.

I placed the first two bets yesterday but never confirmed it on thread, will do so shortly.

I've now actioned part 2, as per your Post.

Will confirm everything later, bit busy right now. Gotta do some tweaks to my Aintree Tipster algorithm, a bug got in the coding yesterday.
