Some of you may be aware of this already, but a new app launched yesterday that should help the US sports guys keep track of the latest news.

Expecting the ROI graph for US Sports to get an upturn now - no excuses!  Smiley

Morning Mr T.

The search for another weekend hat trick begins tonight when Widnes host Wakefield. I usually like to find games where I think points will be hard to come by. I think this may be because when the game kicks off we are already winning and we remain winning until maybe 10 minutes from time and we may lose. When we go for lots of points we start off losing and may only be winning for the last 10 minutes, and I prefer time spent winning to losing. How weird and icecreamish is that ?

Anyway tonight I am opting to be losing for most of the game. Widnes have a plastic pitch and it is more conducive to high scores because of this. Both teams will think their best chance of winning will be by attack rather than solid defence.

Suggest £24 over 55.5 points @ 5/6 Coral or Betvictor.

Thanks hector. Done.

It'd be rather pleasing if you could manage another three or four in a row. We need the money.

£24 @ 5/6, Corals, OVER 55.5 points, Widnes v Wakefield.

Top work, thanks.

How clever is that? Such a simple idea, too. A UK version would be handy......

I bet Tighty will be there already, never to be seen again for days.

Ms. Shin may have got the wrong side of the draw as most of the good scores were posted early yesterday and she was one of the last out. The course appears to have a very tough closing stretch too which could make for an interesting finish.

She was actually cruising at -3 through sixteen holes before double-bogeying the par-3 seventeenth and only parring the par-5 last.

So not Ms. Shin impossible yet?

Tikay, I know someone suggested this before, but you need a Spreadex account. They are over 53.5 5/6 on this match and 21/20 over 55.5. They are not on Oddschecker (which is a bonus) but are FSA(FCA) regulated and I have used them for years.

If anyone is opening an account there is a £50 refer a friend scheme. You will need to quote my full name and my post code which is WD4 9JD when they call you after opening the account. All and any £50s that I receive will be used as free bets on behalf of Blonde. Tikay can have the ultimate decision where it goes and if we spin them up to anything significant we could buy a horse called Blondepoker (or a greyhound) ;-)

I know links are not allowed but I think this might be ok:

An idea for 18.40 Punchestown, depends on being eligible for BetVictor's Mullins offer. £25 e/w Moscow Mannon best priced with VC 5-1  and lay off win part on exchange, to beat betfair place odds (1.83) and with added spice of money back if 2nd to  Un De Sceaux

Farnborough v Chelmsford, Blue Square South, tomorrow 3pm.

Chelmsford are in the play offs, but will want a win to try to finish 3rd and get home advantage. Farnborough have nothing to play for and are in danger of going bust, again. More importantly, Farnborough have no goalkeeper and have to play a midfielder in goal. When they did have a keeper Chelmsford beat them comfortably.

You can still get better than evens on a Chelmsford win. Suggest a decent sized bet on them.

Ahead of tomorrow I thought I would summarise the thread's football bets

For these purposes I have chosen to exclude Walsall who we need both to go up and go down

Premiership

QPR to go down £50 at 8/5 This weekend is now or never, away at Reading. In all probability a fortnight tops away from a settled winner

Chelsea outside top 4 £80 at 9-4.  4-5 games to go, 4th ahead of Spurs in 5th by a point

Championship

Huddersfield to be promoted £20 at 10-1. This can be written off.

Wolves to go down £10 at 15-2  In bottom 3 with two games to go..chances but one win scuppers us in reality

Blackburn to go down £45 at 3-1 An outside chance, result this week at Millwall very bad news for the bet. A win this weekend writes the bet off

Birmingham to go down £20 at 5.4  Recent improvment in form makes success very very unlikely for bet, 9 points above the drop so points tomorrow and thats it

Bolton £5 at 33-1 This can be written off

League One

Doncaster to win £20 at 12-1. A point behind Bournemouth going into the last game. Likely to fall agonisingly short.

Brentford v Doncaster
Tranmere v Bournemouth

So not the best fixture as Brentford play off hunting

League 2

Bradford to win £25 ew 12-1  Can be written off

York top 7 £30 14-1  Can be written off

Conference

Maccelsfield promotion £3 at 80-1 £5 at 50-1 Didn't make play offs. Loss to be taken

Summary

Suggest taking the red ink, tikay...

thread needs QPR lose, Doncaster win/Bournemouth lose, Wolves lose, and Chelsea to lose....needs them to come in!

Finally, Walsall at Crewe tomorrow are into 11/10 from 13/8 having been 10/11 yesterday

Max bet, and a huge game for the thread with the above losses to take

Top stuff. I like those ones, though I have no idea if that news is in the price. Hopefully not. That is a very tight price for an away team, but you may have spotted some value.

I can get 11/10 at Paddy Power, however, it is Evens in some spots, 10/11 elsewhere. I can't compare with Betty, as there is no liquidity there.

So I took my Max at Paddy Power, £30 win.

Good luck.

£30 @ 11/10, Paddy Power, Chelmsford to beat Farnborough Town.

Top stuff Tighty.

As a rule, we only take losses & profits when they are paid, but I'm aware some of those are very dead.

I'll clean up the definitely dead ones over the weekend, as they arise. That Walsall result would be helpful, as you suggest, to to pay the rent.

As to the Promotion/Relegation bet on Walsall, I'm at a loss. Literally.

Sod's Law our £150 bet is on Walsall, too!

Tighty. Why do you think 1 wolves win scuppers us?

Huddersfield play bottom placed team and Boro favs vs Wednesday, both those win and even if Wolves win they need more results to go their way.

maybe it doesn't then. I still think any team in the mix who wins this weekend on 51-53 points get a huge boost.

Should be 4-5 teams facing relegation on the final day

Think we have a small bet on Brighton to be promoted somewhere too.
