another article with everybody's favourite footballer
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/may/03/benoit-assou-ekotto-tottenham
highlights are
"In England, it's more objective. People are more cool about players earning millions. It's also not whether they agree with what I say, it's that there is a respect for the fact I was man enough to say it. I must say, as well, that I have seen quite a few Spurs players kiss the badge and then fuck off. I am still here.""
and
"I phoned Harry straight away. I liked working with him, he has a cool attitude. With AVB, it's more tactical, in terms of understanding your different team-mates and the opposition. He changes his teams more, moves them around. Some players will play two or three different positions in a single match."

Must habe a real chance with trump. Neither playing well but trump is further away from his best and is still 6 6
They play like this in the final and Ricky turns up playing like he has about half the time during this tournament, we have a real chance.

So far in the UK elections the UKIP has polled 26% of the vote in wards where it had a candidate
It has won 42 seats, about 75% from the conservatives. Furthermore the UKIP has come second in 85 wards which no doubt in the home of Nigel Farage has elicited sclerotic cries of "crossbar!" on numerous occasions
Current expectation, with the rest of the results to come through today, is that the UKIP will poll about 20% of the national vote, which would make the thread bet a winner.
I have moved from "hopeful" to "confident" on my swing-o-meter.
The press, and Westminster, is full of "this is a seismic change and what a "surprise" this all is
Not to budding psephologists, as you now all are, it isn't

Hi Tikay..
Suggested bet for this weeks Golf Euro Tour Event - in China (obv)
Jose Manuel Lara Top Ten @ 18/1 spreadex - If you haven't got an account with them, BF fixed odds are 14/1 which is still a decent price imo.
Reasoning:-
- After long run of missed cuts, he has made the last 3 including 11th last time out in Ballentines
- Stats for last time out tourney at ballentines included 10th for driving accuracy and 9th for GIR so his game is in decent shape
- Has won previously in Asia (
)
- China Open is played this year on Seaside course with expected high winds -he has some decent results in such conditions, (eg siciillian, klm)
- Has favourable draw (out early tomorrow)
- Has come top 10, 36 times out of 348 euro tour events
I've also backed him outright @ 150/1 and also FRL @ 100/1 but think top 10 is best bet
See what anyone else thinks but for reckon 20 @ 18/1 if you can get seems good
Cheers
Tom
Hi Tom - same message as I gave to rinswun - apologies, hope the bet wins.

Phew!
Unlucky bud, but such is golf betting, very high-variance.

Meanwhile, having scored 475 first up, Derbyshire lost by an innings to Yorks. Derbyshire are the rival team to anyone else to finish bottom
This was the largest ever total batting first by a side losing by an innings in cricket history
incred. match!

Not aftertiming or anything, serious question to the NBA guys.
I have GSW at 130's after someone tipped them up. I can't see who mentioned it though and it's not on Tikay's sheet as far as I can see.
Next up they have San Antonio who they are 2-2 in regular season. SAS are 2nd favourites, currently 6.8 on Betfair. GSW are still 65's even though they're in the Semi's. Does anyone think they have a chance?
I'm not looking to lay at a ridiculous price although if they got to single figures I probably would.
Does anyone know who tipped them up as well?

UKIP has now taken 100 seats, so that bet has come in.
