I can't get on this so might as well give it to Fred. Paddy and VC have 12/5 Oscar Cardozo to score at anytime in the Europa League final tonight. It should be a 2/1 shot imo.
Thanks reds.
Fred got Maxed at £22 by Paddy Power, but we took it, that's fine.
Details later.

oooh unlucky Fred.
He was on the last shoulder of the last man and his left shoulder was offside according to ITV commentators...

Although not as good as the Jacquelin v Jimenez match bet from a few weeks ago, I think there is a decent match bet opportunity in the Madeira Island Open Golf tournament commencing tomorrow morning. Rikard Karlberg has stated on his blog(
http://rikardgolf.com/
) that he is playing with an injured left shoulder, he only hit some balls yesterday after not being able to since last Wednesday. He mentioned he struggled to control the height of his shots, and considering this is due to be a windy tournament, not being able to fully turn through shots is likely to lead to a poor performance.
Ladbrokes have placed him in a match bet with Craig Lee @ 10/11, Craig Lee is no superstar but has a top 10 this year and a couple of top 20s in much better class events. He is a fairly consistent golfer, who should be used to playing in the wind. His past form here isnt great, but at least hes played this course the last two years, whereas Karlberg hasnt played it since 2007(when he shot +11) . They are both due to play in the afternoon, so they should face the same weather.
I think this is probably worth £55 @ 10/11 Craig Lee to beat Rikard Karlberg with Ladbrokes.
I have doubled this up with McDowell to beat Chris Wood in his match in the group stage of the matchplay, Ladbrokes are joint best at 4/5 and although traditionally a lottery(and I dont normally get involved), I think there are plenty of reasons to think this is a decent price.
1/ Wood hasnt played competitively for 8 weeks after a niggly injury,...he thinks his game is in solid shape, but he has to be rusty.
2/ Wood had a nightmare 16 hour journey to get to Bulgaria from Bristol!
http://chriswoodgolf.net/golf-players-blog-detail/id/502.html
He had only played 3 holes at the time of writing.
3/ McDowell travelled by private jet from the players championship, is an excellent match player, and has stated his "game is in very good shape" as shown by his win a cpl of weeks ago. The course is nicknamed the pebble beach of Europe, and pebble beach was where McDowell won his major.
I will leave it the thread to decide whether to include the 2nd selection with the first.

I know a few people have followed some of the TfT recommendations for the Greyhound Derby and I like to give updates, plus I am super excited so here's the latest update since all of the bookies have made adjustments following today's trials.
Ballymac Eske flew round in his trial in a nice fast nice and is now generally 5/1 with 6/1 in one place. Fantastic dog but I can't back it at that price knowing how temperamental this competition is.
Regarding our dogs, Farloe Warhawk didn't trial but has been cut today regardless. Now 25s generally with bet365 offering 28s. Interestingly bet365 seemed to be the only ones who took their market down whilst the trials were on today.
Farloe Barracuda didn't trap today but showed good early - the time was only just sub-29secs and WH have pushed him back to 40s, with the rest still solid at 25s and 33s.
Jaytee Hellcat, who we have backed at 100/1, is now 40/1 general, with Stan James the only one to stick at 66/1 after his session best trial today.
We got on Bridge Honcho at the right time for sure, advised at 150/1 (TfT took 100/1) but now 66/1 in most places, with 100/1 still available in one or two places.
Skate On had a sprint trial, ran a good time and is shortening most places. We're on at 150/1 and it is as short as 40/1 in places but still 100/1 at Betfred.
Loughteen Blanco, no change.

I know Mr T doesn't like doing acca's but I was going to put Graham McDowell up as a bet to win the whole thing. As you said the course favours accurate hitters and McDowell is certainly that. He also got to the final last year when he was defeated by the magnificent 3G.
Suggest £10 on McDowell @ 17/2 with Coral

Daily Report
Loss on the Month -£139.18
Outstanding Bets £1354.50
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc#gid=24
We won £32.80 yesterday thanks to redarmi's Oscar Cardozo to score anytime bet which nearly scooped but was thwarted on a wafer thin offside decsion then did scoop on his penalty. That was £22 at 12/5 for a £52.80 profit. redarmi then changed into his Chelsea kit and if you look closely can be seen standing in the celebration photos alongside Mr Terry.
At Uttoxeter meanwhile, a place famous for being half way between Stoke and Derby and, um, er, no thats what its famous for,we had a Channing Special and a Camel saver in a lopsided betting heat. The Channing special washed its face, 3rd e/w and the Camel Saver finished 4th, though some distance outside the places for an overall return on the race of -£20.
It was a busy day in various other sports for us
In shock news that no one could possibly have expected, three IPL players have been arrested this morning for spot fixing. Tough one this for journalists, as they only have 145 possible names to go on.
On the field, Mumbai beat Rajastan to go top of the table with one game remaining. Already qualified for the semis, if Mumbai finish top two they then play the other top two side in the play offs. The winner of that gets straight through to the final. If they do get to the final, we can indulge in some topiary and secure that rarest of beasts, a betting profit on an IPL bet. With the IPL though, there's many a slip between Mumbai bookie cup and Kolkota bookie lip so no counting our Chennai Chickens just yet. That's enough metaphors for one sentence.
In County Cricket over 50 wickets fell yesterday. I was at Northampton where under glowering skies Leicestershire inserted Northants on a pitch the colour of a Bramley apple and Northants struggled to 91-4. Leicestershire would have scored less.
At Taunton, Middlesex lost the toss and were put in, but finished on a creditable 293-8. Rogers scored another 50, 57, to cement his lead in the captain market. For now
"A big boat of a thing" won the Oaks trial at York and shrewd judges, and Chompy, are conflicted on its Oaks chances.
Today, the Dante. I read that it is a weak renewal. After it, we'll know how many Aidan O'Brien horses we have to fade in the Derby ( he has Indian Chief in the Dante) after the stable has won two trials at Chester, the Derrinstown and the Lingfield Derby trial. Looks like we are in the Dawn Approach camp then...
Elsewhere we have a small portfolio now for the Golf World Matchplay in Bulgaria. Bulgaria? I remember the World Matchplay at Wentworth. An iconic event that would attract all the top names. Slightly strange to see it played out in front of two men and a dog called Stoichkov in Eastern Europe, I think
The Test Match starts today, so possibliity of more betting activity there
Our Greyhound Derby portfolio mostly trialled yesterday, and seems to be in good shape.
Quiz time.
One player has played seven times for Chelsea and has won the following medals in the last three years
1 Premier League
2 FA Cups
1 Community Shield
1 Champions League

Three Rajasthan Royals players, Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila, have been suspended by the BCCI after they were taken by police for questioning because of their alleged involvement in corruption in the IPL. The franchise issued a statement saying that they had been "taken by surprise" by the development.
Nice inverted commas there.
