In the Test Match the draw was 5/1 a few mins ago...couple of spit of rain and its suddenly into 11/8.....fascinating swings and roundabouts

Martinez into 1/2 for Everton after resigning at Wigan
Note to self: Do not punt on next manager markets again!

Tal, I think it best not to mention the number of
rubbers
runners left in the Coronation Cup or the prices of the two principals.

So I had to check

ugh. Next time less debate, more action he says to himself

It maybe money lent. Your opinion please Tighty. Dom Cork was adamant that if, as seems likely, the Aussies pick two left hand seam bowlers, they will be churning up the areas made to measure for Swann to get boatloads of wickets.
3-1 for top England series bowler good value?

This is certainly a possibility
- the Aussies may well have two Left Arm seamers
- The Aussies may well have five left hand bats in the top seven anyway. Swann is a menace against Left handers, especially under DRS
- Its a five test series, so the short series variance we suffered here is less of a factor
Set against this
- If the summer is bad like it was last year, it will be seam friendly conditions. Swann needs the Aussies to be compiling some totals so as to put him in the frame
- 3-1 is not the value that 9-2 before the start of the NZ series. To some extent the positive factors mentioned above are now being refelcted in the price

I must agree that 3/1 looks a little tight to me.
