Thanks. I was just saying kvitova is favourite in that half and still 14s. There must be value in an outsider here. Might get 50-1+ one of these to make the final....
Personally I'm on Sloane Stephens at 25/1 but I also piled in on Sharapova the moment that I saw Azarenka fall over so I wouldn't get excited by my "tip". I certainly didn't feel confident enough to tip it for Fred.

Daily Report
Loss on Month £221.82
Outstanding Bets £1287
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&pli=1#gid=25
One bet yesterday and one loser for £15 with Halep failing to overcome Li Na in a strange match of 6-0 and 6-1 either way
Elsewhere Djokovic won in straight sets to make the last 32
Murray plays Robredo today, and it is 6/4 the pair 25/1 bar Murray or Djokovic in a very lopsided betting heat
In the confed cup Spain won on penalties, and play Brazil in Sunday's final. We have Spain on an offer, fre bet if Brazil win so that's the ideal outcome for us
A fantastic weekend of sport ahead. Lions second Test and British Grand Prix alongside racing such as the Northumberland Plate.

Hector, any rugby league bets for this weekend? Hull KR are underdogs against Saints, and at 5/1 with some. That seems a bit generous considering that on their day KR can score a lot of points and Saints aren't the most consistent side. Maybe a nittier option of going for Hull KR with some points? Whoever wins, should be a lot of tries scored in that one.
Any other games catch your eye?

Mere
sorry to go on
Bartoli finalled Wimbledon in 2007. Currently 50-1 or 17-1 to win her half. Second top ranked seed in that half behind Kvitova
With me and tennis, a little research is a dangerous thing, but I am determined to find the value in this half at the prices
...
Horneris said Flipkens/Makarova
you said Sloane Stephens
whats the knock on Bartoli?

somebody i respect told me he was backing Bartoli at 150-1 with 365 when sharapova was on verge of losing
i missed that so personally would find it hard to back her now at 50-1

ok but we are dealing with views in a vacuum here, not harking back to a time when the issue wasn't even discussed on here

Morning Mr M.
Tonight Wigan host Castleford in superleague. We bet against Wigan on Monday when they lost a brutal game against Warrington. They have only had 4 days to recover, and that is not enough. If this match was at Castleford I would be looking at supporting Castleford for the outright win. But playing at home Wigan should have the resolve to get a win but not with a 20 point handicap. Castleford's defence is poor but they do have an acceptable offence and if they score 20 points then that should be enough to win on the handicap.
Suggest £22 Castleford +20 @ 10/11 with Hills, Ladbrokes and several others.
Morning Mr K.
I agree about lots of points in the St Helens game and that Hull KR have a chance, but I am leaning towards St Helens as their injuries have eased and they should now be able to find consistent form. I don't like to go against St Helens when they have Roby and Lomax available, at least not when they are against the lesser teams, and they are at home. Couldn't see 5-1 for Hull KR, best was spreadex at 4's.
I will also go for the unders points in the Huddersfield/Catalans game.

Why sorry?
I'm happy to bang on about women's tennis for as long as you like.
I watched Bartoli's game against McHale and she didn't look very impressive but she rarely does.
Her next opponent, Camila Giorgi beat her just over a month ago (admittedly on clay).
Bartoli also withdrew last week with a virus at Eastbourne. It's difficult to tell with Bartoli because she
always
looks as though she's about to die, but I'm not convinced that she is fully recovered.
At 66/1 currently she may be value.

Stephens is just the one who has impressed me the most in that half of the draw and, although her odds reflect her form, I'm still happy with backing her.
Almost anything could happen in that half of the draw to be honest so picking someone at bigger odds may have merit.

I'm going to throw one out there.
Sean Connery to be in the Royal Box for the Men's Singles Final. 3/1 with Paddy Power.
Basically, you would think this is the odds of Murray to reach the final plus if he doesn't and Connery still goes to watch. Countenance this by saying Connery didn't make the final last year, but he did go to watch him in the US Open final and in the Olympics at Wimbledon.
Murray is currently 2/7 to reach the final. 3/1 Sir Sean spotted in the Royal Box.
Value? Shhhhhhhurely?

Fancy Makharova might beat Kvitova (likes grass IIRC) but not seen any prices to propose a bet. Thoughts?

I believe that you are not a fan on betting overs so I guess that over 54.5 total points at 10/11 does not tempt you?
Sam Tompkins is out so that may reduce the points.
