Noticed this in the daily oddschecker.com email, isn't this the guy with the interesting hair who some of Fred's regs are big on?

"The other man to keep onside is Peter Wright (33/1). Wright is in top form with his recent UK Open semi no fluke. His quarter has been weakened by the late withdrawal of Gary Anderson, yet the 6/1 on offer is unaltered and should be backed."

This is re the Euro Champs which is on tonight btw
Lets not go there, he won a Tournament at 40/1 while I was in Ibiza.First time I had took my eye off a Weekend event all year.He averaged 118 in his semi which is the 3rd highest ever in PDC History.
I think 33s is not far off his correct price this weekend but the Matchplay at the end of the month may be a different story.

Lisicki plays Bartoli in the final

I have a crush on Lisicki.

Bartoli 7/4 dog to win it. Seems about right, Lisicki might out-power her?

A good read on O'Driscoll by someone not known for being neutral

The TdeF stage was won by Greippel. Overall classif unchanged, ahead of the first Pyrenees stage on Saturday which I think (Tonji?) is the first big test for our Richie Porte position

I honestly can't see what the fuss is about BOD. He's not playing well especially by his standards. Two referees have penalised him for not staying on his feet in rucks which has seen him not even going into them in the latter stages of games. He's thrown interception passes in both games and in the last test kicked away an advantage which ultimately led to Australia's winning try. Add to that Jamie Roberts will be the defensive captain and would have been were he fit for the first two tests. I would have had Tipuric in as well.

I spent 3 days looking for prices for the Lions captain for the final test as I thought it was going to be AWJ as I would have dropped O'Driscoll. Then again I wouldn't have had him in the squad. Gatland has played the only card he has left which is to win the final test by kicking more penalties than Australia. Will it work?

Hi Hector. Do you think the defensive impact of Roberts and a really direct approach, biggest possible pack selected etc etc will prevent Australia scoring a try or two?

Don't think I do. Too much flair in Falau and Beale, notably fort the Lions to win it 18-15, 21-18 etc etc imo

Think Australia will move the Lions around, try to make it unstructured

Warrenball is all muscle, through the phases, bosh and biff in straight lines

Interesting such different approaches

Short boundaries, dry pitch, I checked post toss and essex were 8/13. Was putting them up at evens as batting first is a big advantage.....very very tough group Surrey have won 3 out of 4 and I didn't see that coming

Middlesex are not a T20 team at all imo, no middle order big hitters, not enough quality slow bowling options either

I hope they don't stop the Aussies, but they did for 75 minutes last week and this Lions team is geared to be stronger defensively than last week. The only weaker change I see as far as defense goes is O'Brien for Warburton but that is a close call. I really like the draw at 20-1 and can see a 15-15 all score, but that would wreck my series bet on Australia.

Is Friday the final?

Probably an optimistic question...

You don't really get this betting lark.  Back Chompy's suggestion, do something else, collect money.  At no stage in that process do you need to sully yourself by tuning in.

I made this mistake last night

Thread research

After a couple of minutes a woman called "Wolfie", I think started talking to a scruffy bloke and that was all I managed

I decided to live it vicariously via Chompy from that point onwards.

I don't know where to begin with that.

Still a bit of 6/1 about Gina knocking around, with Baldfred and Baddies. Anyone yet to partake might want to have a look. It won't be there much longer.
