TdF gone insane already!
Spanish attacks isolated Froome, the race gets more barmy day by day.
Contador playing ringmaster
Movistar & Valverde creating mayhem.
Without Wiggins and with Thomas chipped if not broken, is Sky still a credible threat against experienced teams in this sort of environment?

Sky as a team are really missing the experience Bernie Eisel as team captain on the road. Don't think they need to panic. Today looks like carnage, but Froome should still be able defend by himself. Porte can loose 2 minutes but still be in top 10. Today always looked to me like a possible bomb to blow the race apart. Tactically fascinating.
The beauty of the Tour, three weeks of drama & many more twists still to come.

Mercedes struggled on tyres in the heat. They don't know why. Again. Great
Porte out of the TdEf podium hunt
Could do with Murray here.

I think the Connery bet would have been a miss, as I can't see any reference in the press of his presence. Also, Sir Alex is on a cruise of the Scottish Islands, apparently.

Morning Mr M.
Today's super league sees Castleford host St Helens. St Helens recent form is woeful, and in stark contrast to Castleford who recently won at Wigan, which few sides manage to do. This match seems to have been priced up on reputation and not form. I think this is a pick'em match and so the 9/5 we get for Castleford is a decent bet.
Suggest £20 Castleford @ 9/5 with sportingbet.
That price has gone.
The best available to us is 7/4.
Still a bet?

Correction.
We have used Unibet.
On
£20 at 2.85.
Decent bet, but wouldn't look too much into Cas's win again Wigan. Wigan were dire, and a select blondepoker XIII could have given them a run for their money.

The Calzaghe one is an interesting question. I'm a fair distance from being his biggest fan and point to him having fought all of the best people around but few at their peak. I wouldn't say he hid from a fight; it was more just the way things turned out.
Hellmuth and Ali might make a decent comparison. Of their time, incredibly savvy, media-controlling, iconic heavyweights. Smarter than they were given credit for in some quarters. Ali will forever have questions about some of his fights and Hellmuth's record of 12 bracelets, all in NLHE (until recently of course) might bring them together.
It's so difficult to do stuff like this - I and countless others have tried doing it with chess players through the ages - but best of luck with the article.

Andy Murray is 4-1 (Hills, Sportingbet) to win SPOTY 2013, despite being around 3-1 for each of the Aus Open, US Open and Wimbledon.
That doesn't work out somehow. Was expecting him to be around 2-1 tbh. His 11-4 in one place, which looks nearer the mark. Recommend an interest here.
Also, Froome is 12-1 with Badblokes (5-1 with Hills). He's around 7-2 for the TDF.
Rebuffed?
