tikay asked for opinions, I gave an opinion. No problem at all with me if he chooses to go with it :-)

13/2 the place e/w is v interesting, as ripple says. Only got 100 runs to make up to get top 3, and only Clarke, maybe Watson, I'd be confident about scoring runs in the next three tests

I actually think it warrants a decent sized bet as well.

Look what you have done Jeff - I have got Team Max on my case now.

Fine way to awake from the early afternoon nap.

I absolutely refuse, you can all **** right off.

£30 EW @ 25/1, Ladbrokes (1/5 - 1,2,3), Warner, Top Australia Series Runscorer, Warner.

ON.

Details later, when I wake up properly, and am less grumpy.

I had to nap, as I am working tonight. Which gives me the thinnest of reasons to mention tonight's Racing Preview (8pm - 10 PM) on Channel 861 includes a preview of.......

Saturday's King George at Ascot.

Sky Bet day at York, on Saturday, including the York Stakes, and Sky Bet Dash.

Glorious Goodwood.

Galway Plate and Galway Hurdle, at the 7 day Galway Festival.

The Studio will be packed with knowledgeable experts.

I understand Mr Cisse has decided to double settle down and stick to playing football.

Looking forward to it. Will be there about 7.45pm. Practising now, phrases like 'You pays your money, you takes your chance', 'driting like the Kontiki', etc

Are we dead in the water with Telescope Chompy, or is there any likelihood that he'll be supplemented for the St. Leger later?

Distinct lack of talk of any targets Marky. Last report I read had Stoute playing down face value of last win, but Newmarket reporter saying he even more apple of Stoute eye now.

I expect a Hillstar win on Sat, in King George may help our chances of getting a St Ledger run, as a win should see Hillstar aimed at Arc.

Telescope

Stoute "Next run will be over 10f, likely to be the Juddmonte or the Irish Champion"

tikay, can you ask your assorted experts for an each way alternative to the King George favourite please? I liked Ektidamm (notspellchecked!) but note Hanagan has chosen to go to York for Muktadaam, which didn't scream confidence to me?

David Warner hit 191 for Australia A today. He averages 40 in Tests, their batting has been terrible, and he was sent to Zimbabwe to get some runs after beings suspended for lamping Root. Any value in the 33/1 he's the Aussie series top scorer? Noone has scored many so far, 102 for Clarke is the best Agar has 130 but he's not gonna be series top scorer, so basically if Warner comes back and gets a ton, he's right in it! Banzai?

Anyone got any views on this, from the Mike Ashley Appreciation Society?

Will be interesting to see who he comes in for (if he does play).  Watson & Clarke will play, you would think they will keep Khawaja and Rogers, which leaves Hughes or Smith.

I reckon 25/1 is pretty marginal in terms of value, I certainly wouldn't take 20/1 given he is far from certain to play

Smith should play given his leg spin options, bowling at Lords, likely dry pitch and lack of wickets from Agar

Warner for Hughes I suppose? outside bet Rogers and Warner opens?

dunno, will be interesting to see the team for next week
