Essex are into 4/5 best tonight and 8/11 generally

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/friends-life-t20/essex-v-surrey/winner

Whilst it is tempting to say we'll take the £50 at 12-1 for the whole shebang, I don't think you'd have had that size on thread at the time. Hence my suggestion to take half before the price moved and not after-time it

Currently 11/1 in a place and unless both of

a) they lose tonight and

b) Middlesex beat Hampshire

the price is headed south at 9.30pm. The quarter final draw is live then on SS2, too

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/friends-life-t20/winner

50% of the £50 @ 12/1 is fine by me, as long as there is no aftertiming suggestion. The question was posed by me, & replied to by you, BEFORE tonight's match, I just failed to reply before the price moved 2 or 3 points.

So, Fred Compliance & Auditors, make a decision.

£25 @ 12/1 would seem to make sense, if it gets past Compliance Officer Doobs & or MereAuditor.

Surrey Squad : Batty, Ansari, Burns, Curran, Davies, Dernbach, De Bruyn, Lewis. Linley, Azhar Mahmood, Roy, Solanki, Wilson

Likely team

Roy
Davies
Burns
Solanki
Wilson
Ansari
Mahmood
De Bruyn
Batty
Lewis
Dernbach

Missing Ponting, O'Brien, Maxwell and Tremlett from the team that has got them 6 wins out of 9 in the group stages

Burns is a county opener with one T20 game lifetime, the line up lacks batting power, hence yesterday's rec

Tommy Curran is an 18 year old lad, and a name to watch. He is the son of former Test all rounder Kevin Curran from Zimbabwe

A few years ago Curran died of a heart attack and shortly afterwards his widow and kids were left stranded in Zimbabwe with it all kicking off. Tommy was already by then being talked off as a Steyn-like bowler and Surrey CCC paid for the whole family to come over to the UK and paid for the lad and his brother to go to Wellington College

Which is one way out of a tricky problem at home

He's now qualified to play for England by the way. Bookmark the name. Very rapid.

If you have a Corals account they have a thing called the Coral Champions Club. Free to join, but you get a newsletter and various bs each week.

They have an offer on Dawn Approach at 7/4 for the Sussex to a max of £40.

Value, even if a little legwork to avail yourself of it, for those interested.

Hope some of you got on?!

SUGGESTED BETS FOR TOMORROW
Some very good races tomorrow.  Don't make the mistake I did and assume Paddy Power still have their offer in place, because they don't on the very good races.

Suggest the following with Hills mobile (£25 each).

2.30 Excess Knowledge £25 at 2/1
3.05 Dawn Approach £25 at evens
3.40 Parbold £25 at 2/1 (not sure why this isn't favourite).

All are best prices and short, which seems ideal.

Think we can also splash £25 with BetVictor on Toronado at 7/4 in the 3.05.  Their offer is refund if 2nd to the favourite.  Hopefully Declaration of War crushes them both in that race, but can't turn down the value.

Really solid chance that it is my colour blindness but that font at the top is a disaster for me.

Essex should hit more sixes. 4 or 5 six hitters to 2 or 3 for Surrey

+1 to both points, and I'm not colour blind, but am viewing on mobile.

Joint recommend from myself and Chompy - he will be on shortly to outline how potent Posh are this year, but they have just signed Watford's Britt Assombolonga on a permanent for a transfer record (I am very surprised we let him go), who was banging them in for Southend last year.

With Posh's potential for free scoring, myself and Chompy were mulling that 14-1 on him to be top scorer in L1 would be a decent poke.  Turns out VC have quoted him at 40-1.

Thread should have something on this I think.

Love this game!

VC were the only ones to have him in their list. They won't lay me more than a tenner on horses but will let me play on footy stuff; this was one of my main accounts in the olden days and it was a small loser over time.

So I asked for £200 @ 40-1 and got it! Now thinking I should have tried for a monkey.

Happy to let TfT have a bit of it if it's wanted?

Haha - £200 on 40-1 Assombolongalonga.

What a cracking bet.

Unfortunately such is the way with this great trade, he'll doubtless ping him hamstring now.
