Lewis/Salas v Nordqvist/Hedwell

Hills are standout 17/10 on the Europeans.

Lewis lost 2011 foursomes 3&2 and 6&5 playing with Angela Stanford (who has picked up 1.5 points in foursomes before). Undoubtedly Lewis is a better player now but this format is a different beast. Hedwell was on the winning side of the 6&5 Lewis suffered. Nordqvist is a tidy player and has experience of this format. Salas is a rookie.

17/10 the Euros is pretty big.



Lang/Stanford v Pettersen/Recari

Lang and Stanford have terrible records really. Pettersen has 6-2-2 record. Recari doesn't have to play out her skin for Europe to win here just decent.

11/10 pretty generally.

Am watching the Solheim Cup now, & the raucous crowd are proving rather tiresome already, shrieking, trilling, hooting & hollering.

Bent scored a lot of goals for Charlton in their first season in the prem IIRC and the vast majority were pens. Will he get the spotkicks for the Fulham Jags?

He scored 18 league goals in that season, I don't know how many pens but you think the 'vast majority'? Like 14 pens or something?
I don't know if he'll get pens at Fulham, I'm sure he'll want them and I'm sure he'll expect them. Berbatov and Sidwell are the Fulham takers at present.

Bent has got to get the ball off berbatov first..not a fan of any bet on bent at all.

Yes, that is a valid point. But I'm assuming he'll be the main striker and Berba will have to take a more withdrawn role. It would have been better if he had signed a few weeks back and we could have gotten more of an indication of what his role would be.
If you are going to sign Bent, you play him and he scores goals as well as anybody. If you don't play him, you really don't want him at the club as he's somewhat disruptive if things aren't going his way.
Martin Jol signed him for Spurs and obviously that spell didn't work out well as Jol got the chop soon after and his replacement didn't fancy him so much.
Jol likes him clearly and I assume he'll be the main man. That's my thinking and @ 80/1 I think he represents value.

Pressel should get 5 games unless all players get a rest so she'll never be at a disadvantage. She does have an interesting 1st game v Matthew with both having a rookie to play with. However 9/1 each way 1/4 top 3 is a very good price in my mind. Creamer is 9/2 and there is no way Pressel is twice the price.

Just on this market, I really like Horseplayers bet on Jay Rodriguez @ 200/1. Fred is already on it but I meant to say at the time, I think it's a really, really great spot.

You were seriously unlucky there Doobs, I had exactly that problem with BetVictor, kept saying "ERROR HAS OCCURRED", so I switched to Coral instead, same price & terms. I might just go check my BV Account now, as I had 3 attempts. They might all be on........

Hate Kerr/Wie as Kerr was mince and Wie has putting issues which it seems from the first round of games is an issue. Hull is unknown and Matthew is soso in fourballs. Got to side with Matthew here.

Again Hedwall and Masson against a terrible Stanford and rookie Piller.

Lang played well as did Nordqvist so nothing there.

Pettersen/Ciganda v Lewis/Thomson could be anything depending on Lewis and whether she rebounds or sulks.

Just a note for Doobs, or any others who like the Will Hill bet, betfred have been offering it for the last few weeks too and i don't think it needs to be done on mobile either.  So if there are any particularly strong fancies for the channel 4 races it might be worth doubling up over the two sites.
