If you are generally only interested in the offer market on Hills for shorties, then maybe the free bets would be handy on those I mentioned at £10 stakes.

Definitely don't use free bets to put a tenner on, you'll blow £15 that way.

I am on Soft Falling Rain and Somewhat.  We can put £75 on each (Ladbrokes, Hills ands BetFred) and then watch through fingers.  Probably getting the equivalent of 5/2 on 7/4 chances, just hoping they don't finish last when we have the big money down.

Haven't got much time today, but there are 6 other races and we should try and find something.  Trigg put up that Medici Time last night, but it is shorter than he wanted at 8/1 (best with Hills and Ladbrokes) and you may get bigger on Betfair

Suggest one free bet on Novellist for the Arc, Ladbrokes are stand out 6/1 again.  Had a quick look at the golf this morning but nothing appeals at Ladbrokes prices.  York is next week if we can't find something today.

Profit on Month £681.53

Outstanding Bets £3391.62

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc#gid=28

Welcome to the lobby of the luxurious Travelodge on Broadway plaza, Birmingham. The soles of my shoes stick to the carpet as I walk from my room!

I awoke to news that the 49ers had beaten the Chiefs 15-13, the upshot being that the thread lost £43 yesterday/overnight

The big success of yesterday was in the Solheim Cup, with correct predictions in both of the morning Foursomes for a profit of over £83. However, free bet apart, a losing day on the Horses, the American football, the small cricket loss and Doncaster beating Blackburn swallowed the Solheim Cup profit up

Stroud fell back in the second round at Greensboro, carding a 72 to go into the weekend seven shots behind

In exciting news, the Rays won 5-4 with a walk-off triple in the 9th and the Red Sox lost so, once again, 10-3 to the Yankees this time the Rays are only a game behind in the AL East

In a double header in the central, the Royals beat the Tigers in both games. Interesting

Today is a busy day for the thread. Frankly we're swamped by the activity but I think this is comprehensive

- T20 finals day Essex, Azharullah in the first semi and boundaries in Surrey/Hampshire, though these may not get sorted to tomorrow

- Two boxing bets for tonight

-  Moussa at Carlisle to score

- Tons of season football bets start today, plus all the Fotball League bets ongoing

- Wyndham classic Golf, Stroud and hole in one (please)

Great stuff Rich, thanks.

I'll do a "Saturday Sweat" schedule shortly, so we can keep track. WAY too busy yesterday!

I'll try & get my head round these shortly. Not sure I'll have time (or cahooneys) to execute them all, but we'll see.

Enjoy your Saturday.

John Hartson has just tweeted that he is on his way to the Emirates to do stuff for the BBC and is Wazza on his way to Arsenal?Huh? Hartson obviously played for Arsenal and I can't think of a reason why he would have tweeted about Rooney going there unless someone at the club had said something to him?

You can still get 7's that Arsenal is his next Club.

Thanks Mr Rubbish.

Hmm.

If there were some foundations to that, plenty of folks would know before John Hartson (imo), & it does not make sense for Utd to sell to a rival, or even sell at all. I'm just inherently suspicious of tips from jockeys, footballers & the like! Plenty of media chatter of course, but nothing solid, & I'm sure the bookies know better than John Hartson, the media, or us, so it is odd they still offer 7/1.

But.....

We have £66 @ 10/11 for Rooney to STAY at Man U, so maybe we could take £10 by way of cover?

Thoughts anyone?

I'll have a look at BetFair & see if there appears to be any interest, if they have such a market.

Rooney to Arsenal, as per Rubbish?

He is rock soilid 2/5 to STAY @ Man U, & 8/1 generally to go to Arsenal, though this HAS shortened a tad.

Agree with Tikay

There is a reason there is yet another bookies rep ramping up Rooney to move on sky sports news this morning and its not to be helpful.

Dread to think how much money these markets have made them this summer alone

William Hill doing their usual offer on Channel 4 racing of money back if second if Bering on tablet or mobile, so I'm posting in Doobs style.

Newmarket

2.20 - Medici Time - currently 8/1 and I think this is decent and could definitely be around around when they are coming home. I'm happy with 8's here and suggest £10.

3.25 - Lyn Valley - speaks for itself and will be a short price, suggest £25.

Newbury

2,05 - somewhat - short favourite, should be winning the race in fashion, suggest £25. 11/10.

2.40 - I'm your man - definitely suited by conditions and record over distance is better than the shorter prices in market. Suggesting £10 win, not too sure about price at currently 5-1

3.55 - soft falling rain - shortish favourite, likely to to be there or not far away. £25 on at 13/8.

PS - c4 are covering Newbury, ripon and Newmarket according to the net.

The 3.25 at Newmarket isn't on channel 4, so don't back Lyn Valley hoping for the offer.

Horsey,

Completely unrelated, but how can we best keep track of our "Most Assists" & "Worst Disciplined" bets during the season? Is there a website that does it?

Looked at "Somewhat".

BetFred, Ladbrokes & Wm Hill go, respectively, 5/4, 11/10 & 5/4, whereas it is available @ 11/8 elsewhere.

Does this invalidate the concession, or lessen its attraction?

Soft Falling Rain, same thing.

The three bookies with the concession go 6/4, 13/8 & 13/8, but 15/8 is available in FIVE spots.
