I'd love Toronado to do it, however my ten bob will go where Tom Segal says, and that is with Trading Leather!

Al Kazeem has been weak most of its runs this season

Just a very un sexy horse as opposed to the Hannon/Hughes media machine were everything Hughsie sits on is a superstar

Ladbrokes are offering £25 back if you back a horse in the Juddmonte and Al Kazeem wins.  They are best of the bookies on Toronado at 13/8, so we must bet that too.

FWIW you can beat 7/4 on Betfair, but the bookies are a bit like the Saint and Greavsie sketch earlier when it comes to mentioning Betfair.

The only horse I have an eye on for a free Ladbrokes bet is Foundry in the 3.05.  Seems to have come a long way given that they could probably find a softer race in Ireland...

Piers Morgan reckons Arsenal should sign Daniel Levy. I must say I find that man hard to like. That comment seems just to annoy everyone.

I took great pleasure in unfollowing Morgan on twitter a few days ago and telling him that he was fired.

William Hill are doing their mobile offer again.

Suggest £25s on each of the following
2.30 First Flight 2/1
3.05 Telescope 6/4
3.40 Al Kazeem 11/8  (<3 Dreenie)

I think they are all fairly obvious, but went for the Godolphin runner in the first rather than the favourite, as their 2 year olds seem to be running very well this season.

I agree with First Flight and Al Kazeem, however I don't think Telescope can get there. Last time out he never looked like winning as a 4/9 on favourite, and I can't seem much changing this time round tbh, specially as he's up in trip this time round. I'd say you have better value going for the Goldophin runner 'Secret Number' unlucky last time out when it got hampered, think there is more to come from him, and as you say Doobs, stable in fine form.

gl whatever you do, Al Kazeem needs to win for me, I'm going all in.

Just a reminder: If anyone is thinking about testing the "Chelsea to win 1-0 or 2-0" theory, Ladbrokes are the most generously priced for tomorrow's game against Villa, with odds of 8/1 and 13/2 respectively. I seem to recall 1-0 being theoretically priced at around 5/1 and 2-0 at around 6/1 (or was it the other way around) on Fred a few days back, meaning a smidgen of value.

When Sir Michael is so adamant a horse is as good as he says, ie Telescope, I am happy to give it one last chance especially as it is being stepped up to a trip it's dosage index suggests is more like his optimum.....probably wants further still tbh.......

Racing against older horses last time too, back against his own age now?

Still clutching at the slim hope that it runs well tomorrow, and then he decides to supplement it for the St. Leger.

for betfair users: Id expect that scoreline to happen sooner rather than later. villa aint great at the back and have conceded in 20+ straight PL games.  waiting for goals then backing unders or cs could be of interest.

not looked yet but it sounds like BE may of selected over 2.5 in this game.

so Bales off, his longer price did fluctuate and offer trading opps. the Rooney market is steady and looks good to let it ride.

For those not aware, "BE" = "Betting Emporium", a site upon which Joe Beevers, Lord Grumpy, & other luminaries of the sports betting world, offer tips & advice. One of their specialities is "Over 2.5 goals", where they got off to a cracking three from three start last weekend.

To find out if they really have selected "Over 2.5 goals" in tonight's game, or any other game, visit their site, which is here.....

Well spotted, thanks.

I'd really like redarmi's view on that, as it was his suggestion, as I recall.

Of course, if we do the bet tonight, we are really committing ourselves to doing it repeatedly, to take out the variance.

Interesting experiment, maybe.......
