anybody listen to stephen fry on tms at lunch?

He put me of the job of measuring for some new curtains but it was a fantastic listen

Yup, I was stuck in traffic, & having a bit of, for me, a rare fume, & he calmed me down a treat.

I knew he was a big fan of cricket from previous interviews but his knowledge was really quite in depth

I was in Rules last Christmas and Stephen Fry and a couple of friends sat down on the table next to me.  His voice is amazing.  I just drifted off while sipping my red wine listening to his stories about theatre.  I know nothing about theatre, but it was the tone that put me in a happy place.

Thanks, doobs. I would like you to show me the method on that, at your leisure of course.

Sandy/anyone, where is the tipster filter on the spreadsheet?

The individual ROI's per Tipster are deliberately kept LOCKED. Unfortunately, from time to time when I access them, I forget to "hide" the sheet afterwards, so eagle-eyed regulars go & have a butchers, & I don't blame them. The reason we "hide" them, & don't publish them is deliberate. We don't want to embarrass anyone, that's not the idea at all.

Anyone could, of course, work out individual ROI's simply by working through the monthly tabs. But at least we make it difficult. Wink

You will note the Daily Reports have NEVER named the owners of losing bets, which is deliberate.* We are here to have fun, not embarrass anyone.

* Exceptions apply - Chompy & Eso Walsall obv. They deserve nothing less.

PS - If anyone wants to know their Fred ROI, drop me a PM, & I'll let you know, but please keep it off thread.

It's surely like live poker. You never try to work out your ROI; you just assume you're crushing.

Everyone else is rubbish, so you must be in profit, right?

Bet 365 offer:

1. Bet up to £50 on the United Chelsea game
2. Bet up to the same stake in-play
3. If that in-play bet loses, you will get your stake refunded.

Match odds are:

United 29/20
Draw 12/5
Chelsea 21/10

Bet fifty on the shortest price and then the same on the second shortest price in-play.

If united win, we get £72.50 + our stakes back
If it is a draw, we get one stake back, so lose £50
If Chelsea win, we get £155 (105 plus stake on chelsea)

Think I'm doing this the right way around.

Advise loudly otherwise, please.

This Offer, as Dubai might say, is "a snap obv, even for tikay".

It's unlikely Fred will be able to get on with Bet365, but everyone ought to fill their boots, it is an abso no-brainer. Note the feedback by several, (Doobs, Ed & others?) it HAS to be done a certain way to release the value.

Thanks for spotting it Mr Chess Bloke.

Wow, what a fantastic race, absolutely wonderful spectacle when two horses give their all, head to head, from 2 or 3 out.

No complaints here, we were beaten on merit.

Don't mind losing in those circumstances.
