Webber at 11/1 for a free bet Tighty?  Red Bulls going to run well at Spa, he has a couple of recent 2nds there.  Not sure wet weather is a positive, but we can't be that fussy at 11/1?

Thoughts please.

I don't want to be putting more ante posts on the Arc with the freebies and there is nothing that leaps out in the Hills list for the golf.

Just checked that document, our ante post bet Napoli for Serie A is with Coral, i did say this was same price with bet 365, I have noticed that Coral have E/W as one two, whereas BET 365 were evens 1,2,3 for the place. My fault for not throughly checking, as what I meant to say take the 1,2,3 for the place, but hopefully they will win so it wont matter, they certainly have a great chance, with Coral now cutting them from to yesterday. BET 365 have them at 1.72 place 1,2,3.

Would need Vettel to fail (if not, the risk is team orders again) but obviously the price is great for one of the best two cars

So many variables: weather, tyres were a problem yesterday too that I was avoiding any race recommendations on here

As a win bet I think I might prefer Rosberg of those at 8-1+ but neither Betfred or William Hill where you have free bets are near best price

edit Grosjean 22-1

Seen worse free bet prices. Was very quick at Hungary, and the Lotus might one stop.

Obviously there is a "F1 car as dodgems" risk, but Wm Hill are best price

ooooooh either Nick Luck can't count or the bookmakers are slow taking one out.

Still 16 in the Ebor apparently.

Ted being slashed everywhere, i am sure it has something to do with the amount of non runners also, now 7-1 or less typically, but 43/5 still available with 32 red if you bet with them!

F1 cars as dodgems + grosjean =

Thinking aloud 101...

Extra pit time this weekend because of the new regulations, which cut the speed the cars can travel at while pitting.

Does this make larger stop strategies less favourable? This seems to suit the tyre managers, then.

Watford v Forest preview

I fancy a couple of speculative ones in this game which I will put forward for discussion.

A feature of Watford's games against Bournemouth and Reading is that they have started poorly, and come back with blistering 2nd half performances.  I normally never play this market, but I'd suggest the Forest Watford FT has a greater chance of coming in than the 28/1 on offer.  Small stakes obviously, £3 or something but this is definitely a live runner given that Forest are also full of confidence and will, I expect, be playing to win the game.  Add to that Watford's still rather chaotic defence and ability to score bucketloads of goals and we have spot of value at 28/1 imo.

The other one is Gabriel Angella to score at any time at 8/1.  The centre back is a real menace from corners - scored once against Bristol Rovers and twice against Bournemouth.  He also had a good scoring record at Udinese.  The only negative against this one (and indeed the first one) is that Forest have yet to concede this season, but Watford will offer them a lot more problems than Huddersfield, Blackburn and Bolton have so far.  Against small stakes here - maybe £7 so we have £10 of interest on the game.

Posted this far too early in the week, but just bumping in case thread wants £10 of investment on Sunday.

F1, Spa.

Watched the practice yesterday - saw TWO tyre failures.

Saw F3 qualifying this morning - looks like rain is imminent.

Loving the Safety Car situation. Smiley

Grosjean 33/1 on Betfair so can't do that unfortunately.  Can do it separately with Betfair and Webber on the free bet?  I realise there is a team order risk but that is why Webber is much bigger than Vettel.

Whilst you are around Tikay, put a free bet on Opinion in the Ebor.  He has proven form on soft.

Hills go 6/1.

Thanks dung.

For a tenner, yes, we might dabble our dibble, if you think that price reps value, which you obviously do.
