I did look at that 2pm Kukushkin. I was obviously hoping to find an each-way. I know some very shrewd friends of mine are backing/have backed Peacemaker each-way and I wouldn't put you off. It is hard to get on these things though and I really don't fancy that to win too much. I actually decided that race is ridiculously weak and I fancy the favourite. It's not really my style but I can't believe it was evens this morning. I could see it being 2/5 and could easily make a case for that. I have actually taken 4/6.
I will join in the NFL discussion a bit but I am going to post my selections on Betting Emporium this year. Hopefully most people here have already signed-up but my plan is to get lots of bets on Tuesday-Saturday and then share my thoughts on Sunday before getting some more bets on. Obviously the market is way stronger on Sunday and it's safe to share then without killing my price.
Sycophantic, I know, but wouldn't you give your right(or left, or even both) testicles to be in Neil's gang of betting knowledge

Nothing wrong with Martian, race looks very weak again. I have a small bet on Wizara at 5/2. Would take 9/4. Think the Luca Cumani newcomer will be OK too. Can't find another runner in this race.

Somerset had a look at Taunton this morning and decided there was nothing in the pitch. They won the toss and elected to bat.
Good decision.
Score?
Somerset 47/6.
Now 75/9... at least they made it past lunch!
If Derbyshire win this game it will make the battle for the bottom 2 spots (between Surrey, Somerset, Derbyshire & Notts) very interesting. Notts are a few points ahead of the rest but are playing really poorly - if they fail to beat Warwickshire's 2nd XI this week then I think they will be a great outside bet to go down
Hopefully the bookies bother pricing this market up at the end of this round of games
surrey play somerset next week at taunton
loser of that is going. if its surrey definitely going, as they have Yorks last, and the title will still be up for grabs that game

Just rang Ladbrokes.
They said they realise they have settled the market incorrectly and that Crystal Palace and West Brom have been confirmed as making four signings each.
It's therefore going to be resettled this afternoon as a dead-heat.
Oi oi!

these bets are they designed for short runner races or where there are a lot of long priced runners?
