On ITV last night, the pre-eminent colour commentator Andy Townsend described this as a "sinister tackle" Not that it made much difference to Walcott scoring or not

Morning Mr T.
As Nadal secured the US Open in the early hours of Tuesday morning I am counting that as your birthday present. I loved the pics and musings on your diary, I could read them forever and I can vividly remember getting my first pair of school long trousers when I was 10.
I digressed. Super league tomorrow sees the start of the play offs with Wigan visiting Huddersfield. I always seem to be opposing Wigan lately but they have been playing very poorly. I thought they were lucky that Hull were even worse than them in the cup final. Wigan haven't won an away league fixture since 7th June. They have some injury doubts over a few players and are definitely without their captain, O'Loughlin, who is their most important player by far.
Before the prices came out I made Wigan 3 or 4 to 1. The prices are out now and everyone has them about 6/5. Huddersfield finished top of the league and beat Wigan home and away this season.
I don't like odds on betting but at these prices we should invest in Huddersfield.
Suggest £33 Huddersfield to beat Wigan @ 8/11with Ladbrokes, Hills, Betvictor.
Morning hector.
£33? Wow, you are pushing the boat out!
Nadal was a cracking birthday pressie, 3/1, what a great price that turned out to be. Whenever you give us a bet, I have the same again for myself, so it was a nice touch, thank you.
The musings? I'm amazed that so many folks seermed to enjoy them, & were not afraid to say as much. Forums are strange things, folks don't like to swim against the tide. I just wanted to write certain things, & I'm glad I did now. Weird how so many of us remember those childhood oddities like short trousers. Honestly, I still cringe now at the things other kids said about it, how hurtful I found it. Strange world, eh?
Anyway, we have a hector monster £33 on Huddersfield to beat Wigan, @ 8/11, BetVictor, & I've ordered a new overflow for the bath.
ON
Huddersfield v WiganHuddersfield (To Win Match)Odds: 8/11 Stake: 33.00Possible Return: 57.00

That foul on Walcott should have been a red so could have made a difference to the bet!

Padraig Power's 6/1 about Louie being next evicted from CBB worth snapping up for anyone that can get a worthwhile amount on. Be an easy trade tomo imo.
Best now 5/1 or 9/2. Still a bet?
Would still be betting it at 4/1 but I maxed it yday. Courtney would be a lay at anything under Evs IMO.
Back on outright winner. Abz now a clear favourite at 6/4 which in turn enables us some 4/1 on Charlotte (in one spot - Freds). Yes the last two days she's not done herself any favours - especially last night at the end bitching about Lauren - however I really can't see this putting too many people off her as she's provided us with so much entertainment throughout this series. She'll have a massive following from her usual fans of Geordie shore (CBB would attract the same kinds of viewers IMO) as well as votes which her antics will have picked her up along the way. Think she should be a bet / top up if your already on at 4/1.

Bristol City v Peterboro at Ashton Gate on Saturday. Had this game down as a pick em game but see that Posh are chalked up as 11/8 favs.
Bristol City have started slowly but it is way too early to be writing them off for the season as odds of 2/1 suggest on the home team.
I think Bristol City will win this game more than 1 times out of 3 at home and as such this is a spot of value. Thoughts?
They are 12/5 with a bookies called "Winner" but assuming we don't have an account I think the 9/4 with Paddy Power is a very fair price on the home side.

Thanks Mr Dung, I like your line of thinking here
"Winner" was debated here a few days ago, the concensus was "avoid at all costs".
I'd be interested in Chompy's view on this.
Did you know that the biggest losing bet Fred has EVER had was owned by Chompy? Yup, £1,400.

Thanks Tikay - I'm a big fan of Peterboro myself and think they will do really well this year. But just seems like Bristol City have been written off as also rans for the season after only 5 games judging by the price, and not sure that should be a case looking at their squad.

Does anyone have any experience using
www.winner.com?
Reliable? Cashouts timely? Problems?
TIA
I just noticed winner.com on oddschecker. The lovely people at Playtech started the winner.com iPoker skin a few months before their joint venture with WillHill ended. Rumour was the plan was to have a new skin (other than Titan which they also own) where they could direct all the rakeback customers that were playing on Hills at that stage.
Presumably the sportsbook is just a part of that and I guess they are a white label of another sportsbook. I assume they don't have their own prices, they just mirror someone elses. I'm not sure what happens in these spots with liability management, decisions on restricting accounts etc. Is that stuff done by the white label (winner in this case) or by the book they are a white label of?
If you are happy keeping poker money with Titan, Winner or doing any business with Playtech then you should be happy to do business with winner.
I would guess they will be totally clueless though.
Bump for Tikay. They don't seem so bad on what Neil has said. There was another one that was slated.

DISCUSSION
Been reading some interesting stats on twitter this morning ahead of this game.
AUS behind at HT in their last 6 international games.
Average -5 point difference at HT in those games. Damage usually occurs 2nd half when they avg -15 point difference. (cant quite understand this one myself)
ARG scored 1st try in 6/9 Rugby Championship games. Since 2005 they've led at HT in 6/14 games against AUS/NZ/SA
Early handicap for AUS vs ARG is 11/12 points. Last time AUS beat a team by more than 8 points...Russia in Oct 2011. 25 games ago
Obviously based on that Argies on the handicap and possibly winning at half time and to score the first try all look viable options
Not a rec at all have no knowledge on Rugby just found it interesting enough. Already been a small amount of blue on oddschecker for the Argies.

I chucked 30 quid on Louie to be out before I went to bed this morning, but forgot to ask at what price Chompy recommends laying at.
I'm on Charlotte @ 8/1, so happy to just ride that one out and see what happens.

Ahh, so it was, apologies.
However, I'm ALWAYS suspicious of Firms which seem to be Best Price most of the time.

I have £20 on louie at 7.0 and £20 on vicky at 3.0 I wont be laying off louie is likely gone if polls are anything to go by and only vicky can stop the bet winning I think only reason his price is so high is bookies books will be balanced with the amount on him to win overall I cant think of any other reason courtney is getting over 33% of the votes in the polls to stay tonight which is more than carol and enough to see her through to friday

NFL GUYS..
Patriots early lines has them -11.5 faves.. this seems quite big as they struggled at the bills on Sunday and it looks Amendola is out with a groin strain leaving brady very few targets.. Jets new QB Geno Smith aquitted himself quite well and both teams have decent defenses and I remember some stats from Mr Channing regarding +10 NFL games..
Jets +11.5 looks quite tempting?
