Morning Mr T.
In an hour or so in the tennis in Kuala Lumpur Mannarino plays Almagro. They have met once before when Almagro won in a deciding set after 2 tie break sets were shared, that was on a hard court. It looks like they have just used world rankings to price this up as I don't see much between them. Today's match is indoors and Mannarino has a won 8 lost 5 record this year indoors whilst Almagro has not played indoors at all, he much prefers the slow clay courts.
Suggest £20 Mannarino @ 9/5 with Boyles or betvictor.
Morning hector, & thanks.
It never ceases to amaze me what a global thing punting has become - a tennis match in Kuala Lumpar! I wonder how many different countries we have punted in? Used to be Hackney dogs, & Highbury football, now we are all over the shop on all sorts.
Anyway, looks a great value spot, & we are jolly well on.
£20 @ 9/5, Boylesports, Mannarino to beat Almagro.
ON
Bet ref: 118/117
Adrian Mannarino @ 9/5
Adrian Mannarino v Nicolas Almagro
Match Winner
Total stake
£20.00

Interesting differences in the price on Doncaster to beat Wednesday on Saturday which I posted yesterday.
I've just topped up my bet on Donny as it's at 11/4 now with BV - some bookies are as low as 15/8.

Daily Report
Profit on Month £453.81
Outstanding Bets £2696.19
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc#gid=29
One of those days, five bets five losers and a loss of £120.
The hall of pain
* Hail Bold Chief finished 3rd at Beverly for -£25. Still, at least we didn't hear about the draw bias beforehand
* Aston Villa 0, Tal Hotspur 4. A troubling result for various reasons. -£50 firstly, and second it might encourage our correspondent to do live updates from the main stand next time he attends. Worrying times
* Peterborough H T/FT -£15. In truth our celebrity tipster got a trifle unforch with the timing of the PDC sacking. Kevin Ball's Sunderland team was much changed, had a lot more bite and less fancy-dannery and the bet was never at the races. Much like our celebrity's horse tips
* Peterborough did not score so Rowe and Swanson went down, Rowe literally, for -£30 combined
Onto the longer term stuff
I have a nasty feeling that Middlesex are going to get done on the line. Needing both Sussex and Warwickshire not to win, and of course a high pressure weather pattern over our shores on the one week you want it to tip down...the day one scores were...
Derbyshire Yet to bat
Warwickshire 285-8
Durham 164
Sussex 192-5
In baseball, the rookie sensation Wil Myers (think Gareth Bale precociousness in a baseball uniform) went to Yankee stadium and blasted 3 home runs, only the second rookie ever to do so, as the Rays routed the Yankees 7-0
The Rays have won 5 in a row and are peaking, again, at the right time
The Wild-card standings, with six games to go
Tampa Bay Rays 88 69 .561 -1
Cleveland Indians 87 70 .554 --
Texas Rangers 86 71 .548 1
Kansas City Royals 83 74 .529 4
New York Yankees 82 75 .522 5
realistically it is two from the top three
In the Conference last night Kidderminster 3 Halifax 0, to take Kidderminster 3rd, still points ahead of the scratch teams. We have Kidderminster +7 in the handicap. Cambridge are four points clear at the top of the elague, and will be winning it at the moment, but Kidderminster in the hunt

We never made a decision on your original suggestion to get against Arsenal here. Do you still hold the same view?
WBA are currently 11/4 best, 5/2 generally.

This was another one that I awaited views on.
Anyone else have an opinion?

Excellent memory Mr Bike & Photo Bloke. I have very happy memories of Miss China.
Actually, it was not me, I was wised up by a mate. He is well-connected in these areas, & I'll have a word in his whatsit.

Huge gamble on high master in the same race as Travis , 11/1 into 4/1. It's a hannon horse with Detori on it , surely if it was that good then Hughes as the stable jockey would be on it? Or am I mistaken in that theory? The market loves it anyway.
If it has grey colours, Frankie rides all their horses.

I still think that 5/2 or better is very good value and I can't see it lasting.
Obviously there's no guarantee that West Brom won't field an even weaker team and some of those Arsenal kids are really good but I honestly think WB will play close to their best eleven which ought to be good enough tonight.

Well its you & me versus the field Ralph, as there has been little comment. We've got every League Cup selection wrong so far, so bugger it, we'll dabble.
Amazingly, best Priced Bet365 allowed me £18.18, so I jumped in & MAXED with them.
We have £18.18 @ 11/4, Bet365, WBA to beat the mighty Arsenal tonight.

On the matter of League Cup games, Man U are out to 13/10 at home to beat Liverpool tonight.
I've had a bit myself, because I think there HAS to be a backlash after Sunday, but Fred is not on.

I feel I've been playing the role of Wilson from Home Improvement this week when it comes to Fred: on the other side of the fence to the rest of the world.
So, I've decided wholeheartedly to endorse and support Fred's bet on the Baggies to boing the CESMs in the field of crataegus monogyna tonight.
