Got to admire Ladbrokes.  They have gone 8/1 Vorda for the 1,000 Guineas, best priced 14/1 with Corals.  For a bit of sport I tried to put £200 on at 8/1. Maxed at £2.50.   Can't be too careful.

Just had a look - I am Restricted (if I wanted to get on) to £25 on Vorda.

In the Ice Cream Ratings, that makes me 10 times Ice Creamier than you.

Chompy is not even Restricted there.

An interesting footy bet stateside in the MLS this weekend.  DC United travel to Toronto FC and they are the bottom two teams in their division with Toronto a touch better than DC and the game is priced on that basis with Toronto Evens and 21/20 in a couple of spots but DC have the US Open Cup final on Tuesday and that has been pretty much their focus since they reached the final and I just read that their coach Ben Olsen plans on playing a weakened side.  Team news is more important in the MLS than other football because the salary cap means that squads aren't as deep.  Think 60 quid or so is in order at 21/20 on Toronto although they are missing Ryan Nelsen who is obviously quite important I still cant see it going off odds against and when the syndicates get stuck in tomorrow they could go off very short.

Placed earlier this week, we had the Man U to Nil (lost), & the Donny to win v Sheff Weds (Won), so all in all, we've done OK today, probably made £60 to £70. That'll do, it's a quarter of a new tyre.

Hello all I have read every single post and I absolutely love this thread. Never signed up for a forum but I have a tentative suggestion and I would like to hear the opinions of others.

I think the industry have overrated this Real Madrid team . I have watched a number of their matches this season and I am yet to be convinced. Additionally I really like what Simeone is doing with Athletico . I have backed Athletico on different sites at prices ranging from 19/5 to 5/1.

If I were to suggest a bet for thread I would recommend laying Real at around 4/5  or backing Athletico DNB  @ 11/4 on betfair.

I would appreciate the input of others.

No - it is tonight.  Not averse to the bet.  Real are never value in the league that much is for sure so backing against them is probably okay if you have a view.
