You wouldn't have lost if you followed Neil's tips, depends how many you placed tho.

If you just did his nap, you'd have mopped up.  If you just bet the 2 biggest, you'd have made a small profit.  If you'd bet everything, you'd still be counting it.

Incidentally, he has 2 bets up for the NYJ/ATL game tonight

Thanks Simon.

Guess it makes no sense looking back, it is what it is.

Think we were undecided about whether to just bet his "Best" ones, or all of them.

Anyway, what with work & that, I clean forgot, just one of those things. Shame, we could have got into the blue.

He only Posted his final recommendations @ 4pm though, & I was a bit busy by then getting sorted for work.

As to backing his 2 bets for tonight, I'm worried we may have missed the wedding & all that. It'd hurt a bit to miss his scoop weekend, & then back a pair of losers on the Monday night game!

Quick!

RECOMMEND £50 Hannah Barrett for X Factor, 10-1 Baldyfred or Lads

Rebuffery?

You Posted that at 8.51 last night Mr W, but as I made everyone clearly aware earlier, I was working from 6pm last night, making TV Gold. Post earlier next time, then I can rebuff you properly.

PS - Congrats..... on your sudden..... new-found...... NFL tipping skills & writing.....style.............what were.... your views on.... the Bengals..... deeee last night?......

Too much work, not enough puntering. Like this girl la lot, especially as the favourite is very high risk and Abi Alton can't sing. You can have £20 @ 10-1 if you like, I spose. Sigh.

I like the look of the Bengals Dee a lot, likewise Kay Cee's. Also, rate Peyton Manning quite highly. Fancy Denver will score some points this season. Jax look opposable however. I might reveal my picks for this weekend later in the week. Lots of research to put in first though.

Oh, I seeeeeeeeeeeeeee

This whole thing was a means to get out of your liability? Gottit.

OK, you got a deal.

BOOKED

Think I already owe you £5 (correct?) so that's £25 now, yes? Want me to send you some lolly, or settle up after? Think I marginally prefer settling up now. Up to you. EDIT - DEBT NOW PAID BY BANK TX

Morning Mr T.

In the next hour Lopez plays Niemenen in the tennis in Japan. Niemenen has a 7-3 winning record against him but there is little between the 2, of the last 6 sets 4 of them have been tie breaks. I wouldn't back Niemenen on clay but on a hard court and at odds against he is a bit of value.

Suggest Niemenen £20 @ 13/10 with betvictor

Morning hector, hope you had a great weekend.

I saw that Exeter Chiefs won away from home very handsomely yesterday..... we have "flop-lag" it seems.

We are on that Tennis bet. As described, it looks like a flip, & BMU seem well out of line, so it looks like a proper value spot.

Thanks.

Ladbrokes have revamped their Website.

Talking of which, I tried to check a bet I placed with them in February of this year, & searched "History" - but it only goes back a maximum of 6 months.

Is there a means by which I can find that bet via the Site?

Yes Exeter had a nice win over the constantly hyped up Gloucester. I was on the fence over whether to propose backing them outright or with the 8 points handicap that they got, and in the end didn't put them up for Fred. I can see more value spots coming for them this season as they are again showing the signs of being a proper rugby team.

They must have been a tidy price Outright, & the game was all over by half-Time. We just caught them wrong last week, I guess.

BOOKER PRIZE, 2013

A reminder we have a small interest in this, we have Jim Crace, "Harvest", £10 @ 5/2, currently 6/4.

The winner is announced next Tuesday I believe.

Exeter were 5/2 to beat Gloucester.

It appears the tennis has been moved to the middle of tonight so it will be squeeze time tomorrow morning.

The Booker Prize

http://www.oddschecker.com/awards/man-booker-prize/winner

Ladbrokes have not changed their price on the fav Jim Crace from 5/2 even though the list has been cut from 13 to 6 where as the others have. As well as this it seems that this will be Crace's last novel and there are whispers that he may get the award as a sort of Lifetime Achievement.

Anybody have any views on this?

Sorry your bet is cancelled, we fucked up again.

We value your custom.

Ladcrooks

Sandy

I did in fact try to have a sneaky off thread £20, but they Restricted me to £10. The price was 5/2.

BUMPED FOR TIGHTY

My bad Tighty, the bet never went on for Fred, sorry.

I was just checking my Ladbrokes statement this morning, & spotted it, & assumed it was a Fred bet.

You shouldn't be worried about this - it's the superstitious gambler mentality coming out.  If we're trusting the judgement of a particular tipster it shouldn't matter if we miss a couple as in theory they are all good spots anyway.

Just like if someone was laying 5/4 on (fair) coin flips you wouldn't shirk it just because your mate had already had a few winners with him already.
