Anyone got any interest in the Sky dogs tonight? Think Exocet is a bet at 6/4 in the Kent Derby Final, think it'll go off evens.

Also got small interests in Call Me Millie (7:49), Westmead Bertie (8:04) and Chow For Now (8:19) at 9/2, 12/1 and 8/1 respectively.

Thanks Scott, will have a butchers at those shortly, then watch tonight.

nicked from twitter

64% of live sky games at conference level in the last 6 years have featured a red card being shown

hills and paddy power 4/1 for a red card tonight

Have no idea about ref, teams e.t.c just putting it out there

Small sample obviously but perhaps refs go slightly stricter because of the coverage? Players more up for games?

Tighty/Chompy

Any mileage in Bournemouth +14 on handicap with BV 1/4 1/2/3 @ 100-1

Would probably have to finish in top 8 for the e/w to come in and although sitting 8th at the moment they have lost more games (5) this season than those around and they are the only team in top 13 with a negative goal difference. All things considered surely the 100-1 is too high?

No other markets to compare it too so I presume BV think the will start to slide.

You may know more about there current squad than me as to whether they can maintain a top 1/3 finish this season?

3 out of next 4 fixtures....away to Forest,Leicester and Burnley!

We are/could be missing at least 3 key players...Richie,Daniels ,Fraser...for the above matches.

Will the market stay for a while?......could see the price getting bigger after the next 4 matches.

I've been thinking about this, Nick. We get 25/1 a place. Are we saying they would not do it more than once in 25 times?

I can't see that price getting bigger, if it does, the bet would be dead if it did.

Thanks John. As you say, sample size. How many Conference games have Sky shown in 6 years? 3 per season maybe, 18 in total, max?

far more than that, if the figures include the Conference games covered on Setanta for 3-4 years

BT have had a Conference game each week this season, sometimes too...so thats 13 on its own

^ All seem sensible enough but involves tieing up a lot of money for a long time at very short prices.

Natalie Gumball may have to withdraw from SCD after slipping a disc on Tuesday, according to The Sun.

Was going to make a panic lay. Her price is holding up though. Good old reliable Sun?!

If she makes it, it could help her likeability factor..... as the "anti dance trained" publicity keeps rearing its head in the press.

Anyone ever had a bye for a week in SCD?......I know they have in X factor.

Yes. You can miss one week but must be available the week after or you must withdraw.

The stat was "Sky" though, not BT or Setanta, or am I reading that wrong?

Taking BT this season, surely the average is not running at 64%, which would be over 8 reds in 13 games?

Anyway, these are the two markets in case we are interested....

I can't see that price getting bigger, if it does, the bet would be dead if it did.

I had a quick look at this yesterday.  The win part looks dead already.  They really don't have a big handicap, QPR are well on the way to running down their handicap vs Boutnemouth and others not far behind have much bigger starts.

I feel you could just put it in a spreadsheet with a quarter of everyone's handicap added to current scores and you can see where they fit in.  It is a big price, but I struggled to see it was value just by looking at it.  Am probably going to get no chance to do it today and didn't get a chance to do it yesterday.

Yes its a bit confusing

Sky have hardly had any conference football, competitors have

Barnet-Wrexham last week had two sending offs- a Champions league and a UEFA Cup winner no less! (Davids and Hunt)

Tempted to suggest, as you have done, that the sample size is very small without knowing if the figures include all non-terrestial platforms or not

CREWE V BRISTOL CITY

I was suprised to see Bristol City as favourites for this game on Saturday being the away team.  I know everything is "in the price" but it just seems wrong to me.  Bristol City haven't won in the league yet, and while Crewe have had some shockers they are coming off the back of a thumping win away at Preston who were on great form before that game.  To my mind Crewe will be in a far better mindset than Bristol City.

I am on the wrong end of a private season long wager with Camel on Bristol City, so I've been keeping a close eye on their form.  They have been unlucky in some games, but the feeling on the fans forum is that they are set for a season of struggle against relegation, and this isn't one of those situations where a promotion team have just started slowly.

Thoughts from the floor?  I think Crewe are a cracking bet at 21/10 with Bet Victor for £50 or so.
Dung

Sorry dung, we all missed this.

Not sure I'm mad enthusiastic, but maybe others will know better.

It is a bit odd that City - away - are a decent favourite, though.

I do confess to not having seen Crewe this season, but know they had a very unexpected win last time out.  I'm just basing it off how morbid the Bristol City forums are really and the fact they haven't won.

Baldock is also out with a groin strain (not that he has been that great this season, but he does lead the Bristol line)

People in Bristol tend to be morbid generally though, much the same as Birmingham folk really.

Roll Eyes

Has anything happened to Rachel Riley? She's drifted to 46 on Betty. Perhaps people have started accidentally to take notice of me. Doobs will put them right, I'm sure and she'll be 7/2 by Monday Wink (She won't. She really won't)
