Wade averages 74. Well played.

Taylor covers on the bridle.

Not a total disaster, we got a bit back via  the Taylor bet.

will be in play

not sure i understand the angle of laying a team because they are "due" a loss

Nobody expected Roma to be were they are now so presumably they were also worth laying the last few weeks?

They are missing Totti, they have won last couple of games whilst not playing particularly well, Torino a bit better than people give them credit for, despite not winning for a while bizarrely.

ouch on the minnesota bet

unlucky

Just saw that the bet was over 50.5.

Minnesota's kicker missed their last Extra Point (normally a formality) for it to finish Minnesota 23   Dallas 27.
Pretty sick.

Hideously unlucky, Fred.

Some funny results today and some crazy plays.

At 23-20 Minnesota missed an extra point

49.5 was a winner, 50.5 a loser as it turned out 27-23

So much for the extra tick on the point spread being immaterial, missing an extra point!

Slopes off, shaking head

Its been widely acknowledged that Simon Cowell will return to X Factor in 2014 in a last ditch attempt to save the show, also heavy speculation about Cheryl Cole

http://metro.co.uk/2013/11/02/simon-cowell-wants-cheryl-cole-to-join-him-on-the-x-factor-2014-judging-panel-4170539/

Im tempted to go in on Simon Cowell for sure, at 8/13 think its pretty much locked up profit.

Any thoughts about him or Cheryl Cole?

Very good days and very bad days it seems to me over the past year or so. Friend of mine very similar. I wouldn't punt him one way or the other ever.

The US show is huge for him & he is still making plenty from UK version. I don't see how it is humanely possible for him to do both, whilst having to do BGT.

They said he was coming back this year in some sort of role, it never happened.

You can see why there is this rumour and with Barlow leaving & Louis saying he will (he won't), then you can see why they say he will.

But at odds on? I can't back it personally

These extra points can be very important over the course of a season.  I think taking o50.5 was probably okay in this spot but in the NFL you are going to be lucky to make 4-5% on turnover and the odd half point here and there makes a big difference in the long run.  As a rule of thumb I would only be taking a worse number if I felt as though I could still beat the general market price ie everyone else was 51 and you could get some o50.5.  In this case the game did generally close 51.  Brutal beat though.
