Mr Omm(Original Mountain Marathon?)

I haven't gone in again, purely as I did more than my max last night. Cometh the hour, I am sure Betty will get a few more as a result of twitchy fingers.

Would be happier if Dickie was on board but he is at Uttoxeter riding one of Rog's horses they have been working hard to learn to settle for Hobbs, but Byrne taking off 3 is ok.

We shall be glued to the tv screen - it is being covered on ATR.

The snowstorm in Cincy is due to have finished by kick off/ just after kick off but you would think the heavier pitch could suit the team that can run the ball and that wouldn't be Indy's strength.

If you are around Tony throw £20 on Marcel Reece first TD scorer in the Jets v Oakland game at 12/1, Jets are super tough against the run but he starts at RB for Oakland and should prob be about 8/1 ish.

Ta Phil.

We got MAXED @ £3.55 by PP, & can't get 12/1 anywhere else.

BET PLACED

ok, have the other tenner or 15 quid at 11/1 with VC or Coral, that's still ok.
Phil called your tiddle arsing bluff there gramps!

lol, great read by Jaffa. You got 30 quid at 5/6 Tenn plus 14 then Tony.

BOOKED, thanks Phil.

For clarity, this is a Fred bet.

BET PLACED

Wrong.

On re-reading the thread, this was just Phil taking a bet on my behalf, after he had discussed it with Tighty, it was NOT intended as a Fred bet, sorry. I owe Phil the money, but it is an off-thread arrangement.

Please remove it from Fred.

I honestly had so much on my plate on Sunday it was arse from elbow time.

Todd Archer ‏@toddarcher

Just shot a video at Soldier Field and it is amazingly cold and windy down there. Hard to believe either team will be able to throw much

Todd is a Cowboys beat writer

Points for MNF around the 49 point mark

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/dallas-cowboys-at-chicago-bears/total-points

The risk to this bet is that both teams have porous run defenses. Forte and Murray could run all night, but on the other hand Bryant/Marshall etc could well be far less effective than in normal conditions

Its a stretch to see 50 points though if the conditions are as described in the tweet in snowy cold Chicago, outdoors in one of the most open NFL Stadia

views welcome

Fortunately, nobody placed much credence on Todd's view. He genuinely is a beat writer.

45-28.

13.10, Fontwell, £30 EW @ 6/1, Bucking The Trend

14.00 Southwell, £20 Win @ 6/1, Even Stevens

For those that like to do Doubles, you'll curse if you miss these two & they both trot up.

I invested. I am 0-3 in american football tips on Fred, even though that was just a suggestion, i thought myself it was good enough. I hate that game. If you need a American football team to lose a game, get me to back them btw!

One of the interesting (interesting in the sense that you lose money and wonder how you did) things about this weekend is how so many NFL weather games, in heavy snow, very cold and wind or combinations of all three went over the totals

In large part this is because the defenses in the games were so ridiculously poor, but it still went against conventional wisdom

I think you should remove the -£50 Ashley boring losing bet from the spreadsheet -  the bet never existed

but not include the £50 Patrick bet, which should go into your second pension fund aka misclicks

Does this strike you as a reasonable solution?

My earlier message did not make a lot of sense, I was typing in a post office queue trying to send a parcel overseas and got struck by the  curse of autocorrecting.

I honestly don't mind Rich, just do what you think is right, unless CO Doobs &/or Mere have a different view. I tend to agree, it's a bit Rich for Fred to earn that money for nothing, but if it never had a bet on Boring Bloke, how can it be charged for the loss?

My only concern is that our numbers must have integrity, or people will think we smudge the lines.

Up to you guys.

Anyway, I'm off to watch the 1.10 Fonters, where we plan to be bucking the trend.

I said this earlier.  I think it is the only sensible solution.  If we spot a misclick before the event it doesn't stay on the sheet, so same should be true here.

The Ashley bet never happened so can't go on the sheet.
