Anyone seen any markets for Splash yet? (I think I have the winner, not sure what price it will be though).

It starts Jan 4th

Sorry Tony...

Happy Christmas all!

No, not yet, Joe, I just know there will be another series, you can bet on that.

In fact we did, £50 @ Evens or 2/1 as I recall.  Wink

The twins enjoying Christmas Day?

I've just realised, we have (at least) TWO regular Freddies who have young twins, you & Mrs Mellow Bandit. You should bet on doubles.

2/1 it was.  You managed to dodge the Eagle too.

It's a maths bet - however the Lukaku, Griffith, Rhodes treble with Baldy Fred is a Christmas gift. Best price 5.09/1 with VCI and our little bald Manc pal will give us the 10/1. All against poor opposition at home I'd throw a tenner at it Tikay

William Hill mobile £25s.

2.00 Kempton.  Just a Par at 8/13 is best price and obvious.
2.35 Kempton.  My Tent or Yours 11/10.  I feel this is likely to suit him better than The New One.  Track is sharp and this one looks more a speed horse than The New One.  Champion Hurdle would definitely go for The New One if the prices were this close.  You could back either, this race is just ideal for the offer.
3.10 Kempton.  Maybe a bit controversial, and if we hadn't backed Al Ferof already I may have leaned that way.  Cue Card is 100/30.  He is 9 lbs clear on Timeform and while that may be too much, he absolutely should be top rated.   Turfrax has the ground as soft, I was expecting bottomless.  If it isn't bottomless in the first race, I think we should definitely just chance him in this race at 100/30.  Suggest hold fire and see how the first race goes with the aim of backing Cue Card if it doesn't look too bad.  I may not be able to post at the time, but hopefully someone else can bump.  Of course if it is bottomless forget this bet.

Merry Christmas.

MTOYT is IMO not a bet. Followed this horse so much & always questionable on soft/heavy ground, always something AP picked up upon, think New One is a better bet.

Laddies are ducking the top six in the market for tomorrow's King George.

You really couldn't make it up.

He prob won't be, all things being equal, but it's the same old thing about wrapping up money for a year in these non-credit account times.

Chief clown is on Spotlight duty at Sedgefield Adzy, but he didn't do the Calc Risk race. That was Melly C, so he's probably put him in at 100-30. Or 11-2. Or 95-40. Etc.

How can it not be a bet?  You have two horses around evens and the rest hopeless.  It must be long odds on it finishes 1st or 2nd.   So 80% of the time we either double or get money back.

Both him and The New One have been beat on heavy, so don't think it can be ideal for either.

Just back one of them, doesn't matter which one, either is as good a bet as you could hope for.
