Of first 8 in betting only heard of Austin H. bah!

Surely you've heard of Martin Offiah?

And Michaela Strachan. I bet you were a right fan of Hitman and Her. Before my time, of course. Only know her from The Really Wild Show.

Yes of course I have, but they aren't in the first 8 in the betting.

Do they not teach counting in that pretend public school you went to??!!

I fully expect Peter Wright to beat Wes Newton tonight and given what Bazzabhoy was saying on the dars thread last night I am evenmore surprised at the price.  I was expecting to be against Wright purley on price but the 4/7 that was about on Betfair earlier made this a bet for me.

In saying that I still want to have some part of Newton on my side and the bet I like tonight and that I think Fred should be on is Newton most 180's @ 4/5

Its been well documented that Snakebite has been flirting with new darts that have thicker barrells and as such he is less likely to hit 180's. Wes Newton on the other hand is fairly consistent around the 180's and although I dont have access to many stats to substantiate this I just think 4/5 is a crazy price for him.

Good shout Kmac, I hope you got the lot.

I'll just be thankful I don't dabble much in the even money markets Cheesy

There are more than eight contestants?!

And touché. I shall have my fag appropriately sanctioned.

Peter Wright's interview was rubbish. He sounds normal. I was hoping for a Brian Blessed voice to match the pilary psychadelia on display.

So who are we "all aboarding" in this splash thing, then? Like many do with strictly (to their shame), I'm looking to place one bet early on and then not have to watch it at any point until I have to collect some money. (In before I'm too posh to watch ITV)

Daily report.

Loss on day £9
Profit on month £777.92

One of the quietest Saturdays on Fred in terms of bets placed, but there was plenty of activity. We registered a small loss, however we got a free £25 bet out of it so I look on it as a profit- yey us !

Doobs put up 3 horses and when Bobsworth hacked up at 3-1 he secured a £25 profit overall.

We were plunged into negative figures by a ridiculous bet on the unders between Northampton and Bath, and a bet on one team not to score between Villa and swansea. That bet could have been a whole lot worse, well double actually, had the stakes not been skillfully downgraded by the proposer.

With things so quiet Dubai was forced to goad action from Doobs with a hefty wager on tomorrows Newcastle v Arsenal match. Giving Doobs better odds as long as the stakes were large enough to hurt. Well I am not sure the stakes were large enough to cause Dubai any pain, I reckon he bets more than that on what Kellogs variety pack his missus will give him for breakfast. So how about a stake that will cause some pain Mr Dubai? If Newcastle beat Arsenal you will do the Daily Report for tomorrow? How do you like them apples?

On other bets we had a reasonable day. We have a bet on the fattest sportsman in the world and our chosen chubster is Adrian Lewis. Proposed by Snowball  we have £25 @ 6-1, and he won with some ease, 4-1 against Mervyn King. He is now 7/4 favourite for the event. Winning that will start the New Year off nicely.

Hull City had a 6-0 win and their mid table position puts them top of the promoted clubs.

Tomorrow we shall be mainly rooting for Middlesborough, Tennessee Titans to score over 9ish points, and some quarterbacks to throw the ball. Our hit squad of Championship footballers are also in operation, and Barnsley will start their assault on the top half of the table.

Can't even imagine Pleno knowing how to trade off so he can have upto 1k £/$ @3.15-1

Haha I've no idea what value is I'm not a WL.

Remy is awful as a sole striker, don't particularly fancy our chances. Walcott worst possible opponent for us and tote will be on a yellow after 20 minutes and the rest of them can't tackle.

Was hoping you were going to be a bit more positive.  WL?

Excellent work hector, thank you, & yoor in-depth knowledge of how NFL works was a revelation.

Now, will Dubai take the bait? One hopes not, I'll get fearfully bashed up for mt tiddlearseyness, I fancy.

Out of almost nowhere we have another sweat for Sunday

Last night Matt Ryan had a good performance for the Atlanta Falcons

37-48 for 348 yards

So with one week to go

We have

Most Regular Season Passing Yards   Matthew Stafford 6/1 £50 e/w 1/4 1,2,3,4
Most Regular Season Passing Yards   Drew Brees   3/1   £80 e/w 1/4 1,2,3,4
Most Regular Season Passing Yards   Matt Ryan       10/1   £33 e/w 1/4 1,2,3,4

The position is

1   Peyton Manning, QB   DEN   5,211
2   Drew Brees, QB    NO   4,781
3   Matthew Stafford, QB DET 4,433
4   Philip Rivers, QB SD   4,249
--------------------
5   Matt Ryan, QB   ATL   4,235
6      Tom Brady, QB   NE   4,221

Brees is at home to Tampa. In New Orlean's dome he should ensure 2nd place
Stafford plays at the Vikings and pressure off should put up Yards
Ryan plays at home to Carolina. A tough one as they are going for the NFC number 2 seed and are a fierece defense
Rivers is at home to Kansas City who mgiht be playing back ups ahead of the play offs
Brady plays at the Bills, with the incentive to do well to secure the AFC Number 2 seed. Weather might be an issue for passing yards though

Brees and Stafford only e/w = a small loss

If Ryan can sneak into the top 4 too, we have a profit

BUMPED for reference.
