Wm Hill Offer

The "MONEY BACK IF 2nd" Offer (Mobile ONLY) applies today at Cheltenham & Musselburgh.

Note that the 13.20 Chelters only has 4 runners, & the 3.05 Chelters only has 3 runners, so the Offer does not apply in either of those two.

2 races are covered @ Musselburgh, but neither look suitable for the Offer.

Double Ross in the 2.30 is today's obvious one at 2/1.  It is best price too, so all good.

Fiorentina to finish top 3 in Serie A.

They are currently placed 4th 3 points behind 3rd placed team Napoli and a further 8 points behind 2nd placed Roma. Ignore Juve best squad and too far ahead.

Fiorentina play the best football in the league and have the current top scorer in Rossi. They've been unlucky with they marquee signing Mario Gomez being inured for most of the season, however he is due to come back in the next 2 weeks.

In the January transfer window they are looking to buy Domenico Criscito from Zenit, Italian international left back to help shore up the backline.

This is a really good bet as I can see them staying top 4 and an excellent chance of making the top 3. Murmurs in Italy that Higuain could be leaving Napoli for Chelsea which would obviously be huge for this bet. This is just rumourville tho.

Edit:

Just seen you can get 11/2 on Fiorentina qualifying for next years Champions league group stages with BWIN. Does not make sense, BWIN go 5/2 for top 3 finish and 11/2 to qualify for champions league group stages. Top 2 qualify automatically and 3rd place team has to play a qualifier in Serie A.

Make it £60.

Thanks.

How come you are you so well-versed in the Italian football market, is it a speciality of yours, or are you Italian by birth?

I hope I never got confiused, but we have had £50 @ 5/2, Fiorentina to finish Top 3, Seria A.

Always been a huge fan since the early 90's and thats where my love for the great man Maldini comes from!

You put the right bet on that I recommended. However, I was going through the specials on oddschecker and found the Fiorentina to qualify for the Champions league @ 11/2 which is an even better bet. I did edit a bit later so understandable if you missed it. This is the link:

Morning Mr Maldini.

There seems to be some confusion over exactly what the bet is, see the various Posts in the last few pages by, amongst others, DoubleUp & Chompy.

Can you clarify for us, please?

The bet is: Fiorentina to qualify for Champions league group stages 2014/15 .

Top 2 you go straight in. 3rd place you play a qualifier.

Bwin have def constructed that book on the basis of 2 winners.  You can bet everything in it and have a huge overlay if its 3 places.

I am afraid I currently have no access to the December figures so can't do a report for yesterday. Roughly £50 up I think, the sixes bet for £25 was part of it

I assume the Spurs result goes into January, but need to see if it has been accounted for in December first

On the confirmation bet slip it has to qualify for champions league. Obv if they've made a mistake good for us as bet is on.

I'll send them an email to make sure.

Juventus 1/50
Roma 1/2
Napoli 7/4
Fiorentina 5/1
Inter 7/1
Milan 80/1

98%, 50%, 36%, 16%, 12%, 1% = 213%

That would suggest this is only for the top two places, as would the date cut-off on the website.

If they were allowing for the third placed team to go into a qualifier, they'd be betting to around 260%

Ima emailing them for clarification, as I think we'd want these bets cancelled if it's only for top two places. The way they've put it on the website is misleading, so I think we'd be entitled to have them cancelled if it is only top two.

[EDIT] Will leave it to Maldini to contact them

If they were betting that market with 3 winners to come from those listed they would be betting it to over 300%. Double up explained it yesterday. It is a badly presented market for sure as the description doesn't tally with the prices.

Further bet in 1.25

As i mentioned last night i had MASTERFUL ACT as the fav in this 3-4 here produced two amazing performances around here, shorter trip seems to be the reason for the drift but he has plenty of pace and i cant quite believe 11-2 is available.

Suggest £15 on MASTERFUL ACT 11-2 HILLS OR 365

Promise thats it for Southwell!

Layl is now 4-1 general which looks very short to me

They look like going co favs of all 4 in the opener!

Surprised at the driff on Masterful Act. Trip is sharp enough but it's not like he's one of those that will get behind and take a walk IR. He's a fronty and will almost certainly lead.

This is a decent race but on the last run here he must be fav? The Given thing won an egg and spoon race
