Barnet v Alfreton

We had a small single on Alfreton, & later, a tiddley Double on them & Hereford.

After yesterday's thread meanderings, I thought I'd have another £10 or £15 single this morning on Alfreton, to bring the (single) bet to £20 or £25 total. 

I can still get 11/4, not so far off the originally suggested 14/5, so that's not too bad.

But.......

The game is at Barnet, & once again, it has thrashed down with rain in London most of the night, & now, (0730) is it torrential in West London.

The pitch at Barnet must be a quagmire, near unplayable.

I'm now inclined NOT to go back in & top up, as that pitch will be a great leveller.

Any views on this, please?

Think we have a free bet to go.  Lacking originality at the minute.  But if we have nothing else Al Ferof got the Ryanair looks ok at 7/1.  Cue Card could go anywhere and if he doesn't go here, Al Ferof should be about 4/1.   I think this must be where Al Ferof ends up, though it is isn't certain.

This has to go tomorrow, so if anyone is against this they need to suggest an alternative.  I am unlikely to have much time tomorrow.

Macclesfield v Wednesday

Wednesday always play a decent side in each cup & with the manager situation I think it would be silly to not put a team out against a team we should be beating. I expect a full side and Gray going all out for the win against a very middle of the road conference team.

Suggest £30 at 17/20 with Victor on Wednesday to win.

Wincanton off

Neil suggested he thought this was a Gold Cup horse. Will it defo go for the Ryanair? No problem with the horse just it have a couple of choices and you want to maximise the chance of getting a run.

Good start to the golf, I was reading some of the stats and interestingly they said that the winner of the tournament usually comes from the top 3 after day 1, here's hoping they are near the mark this time!

I would get this bet on Al Ferof put on Tikay, it good enough and  you don't want the free bet to suddenly disappear.
