Big weekend of Rugby as the Heineken Cup resumes.
Tonight Ulster who are top of their group are home to Montpellier who are out of the running. Ulster need to get a bonus point and have been racking up some big scores in this competition. They currently lead Leicester by 3 points but have them away in the last game so this is a must win match,
Luke Marshall, their inside centre, has been on a bit of a run recently and is a stand out 5/2 with Skybet to score anytime but there is plenty of 9/4 available. I would have him at maximum 2/1, probably a shade less.
Ulster over 30.5 points is 5/6 with Ladbrokes and seeing as they stuck 25 points on them in France you would expect them to score a few more at home.
Hopefully Hector will be along with some other bets for the weekend.

Crossed posts with Hector but we agree that Ulster are going all out to win this. Trimble is another who is scoring for fun and I could have made a case for him but went for the bigger price. Wouldn't put you off in anyway though. Skybet have a price boost on Trimble first try at 8/1 from 13/2. Know you can't get on but maybe someone else will want to.

Afternoon Mr T.
This evenings rugby match between Ulster and CESM's throws up an opportunity. Ulster have won all 4 of their Heineken matches and will be hoping to seal top spot and home advantage throughout the knockout stages. They will be going all out for 4 tries tonight for a bonus point. CESM's on the other hand are all ready out of the competition and have sent over their reserves to play for what is to them an unwanted, meaningless fixture.
I think the best way to approach this is to back A.Trimble to score a try at anytime. I make him about 4/5 and we can get 5/4.
Suggest £20 Trimble @ 5/4 with Corals.
Slightly less with Paddy Power @ 6/5 but they do have a Money-Back Special on, don't follow rugby at all so not sure whether the lower odds is worth this as a backup.
If the first try is scored by a forward, we will refund all losing try scorer bets on the match. Conditions

Just looking at Coral offers, they will lay £25 at 11/4 on Ronnie O'Sullivan to win the masters with money back as free bet if a loser in the final. Even knowing nothing about snooker this seems likely to be good value, unless anyone who follows the sport can make a better case for a player in the other half of the draw

Paddy now go 1/4 the odds a place on City games so ruins the bet I think!
Yes - qtr odds, 5 "places".
So we have some choices now, but I need some direction as to what route to take.
I can get £35 EW with PP, or £8 EW with 365.
Are PP double odds if he scores twice and triple if he scores three times or more ?
Ahhhhhhh, it was Betfred. Would have paid triple odds on Negrano.
Ha, now you remember!
I hope you made Pete traipse round every BetFred shop in Birmingham.
Let's see, THREE bookies were offering a good price.
Bet365
Paddy Power
BetFred
How many shops is that? The poor bloke must be knackered.
I didn't remember it was Betfred until he scored the third, then I had a moment of clarity.
No need to do a shop run for that type of bet. A single shop will take £500 on that which is more than I would want on.
I thought of Fred's double delight/ hat trick heaven offer but just couldn't pull the trigger to take 3/1 when the best price was 4/1. Do the maths stack up that 3/1 with that offer are worth taking? Sadly can't get a bean on with 365
I'm not sure I would have taken 3/1, I expected Betfred to go 7/2 which I probably would have taken.
I guess we need to know Man City's goal expectancy for the match, and each players % of Man City goals scored.
Perhaps Doobs could help so we know for the future ?
Hi Doobs,
Any chance you could have a go at this one please ?

We are on, thank you. £20 @ 5/4, Corals
Might do the Rubbish one, too, presumably that would be OK.

Really surprised to see Victors Serenade as big as 16s for the Betfair Chase @ Warwick tomorrow.
Promising heavy ground chaser a couple of years ago, he has had some niggles and wisely not been forced. Made his seasonal debut back over hurdles and ran very satisfactorily and not put back over fences to protect his mark.
I suggested this earlier in the week to a couple of mates, but have now seen several "recognised" tipsters put him up and so I'm very surprised his price has held up, as one of few with the right profile to take it.
Not a mega strong fancy but worth a Fred Jeff Kenna ew at 16s
Word of caution, and reason for the tempered recommend. Choc Thornton riding............Waaaah waaaah waaaah waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
Has to be bet, just so that if it wins, we can all say what a fine chap Choc Thornton is.
£10 EW ? 14/1, BetVictor

I think if you apply the principle that people who tip against their own team are worth following, Adz tipping Choc is an insta-bet.

Ulster over 30.5 points is 5/6 with Ladbrokes and seeing as they stuck 25 points on them in France you would expect them to score a few more at home.
Hopefully Hector will be along with some other bets for the weekend.
Thanks Photo Gallery Man.
We had £20 @ 9/4, Ladbrokes, Luke Marshall, ANYTIME.

That line is now 31.5.
Still OK?

He won't tip Wenger's horse though. That leads from the front but then tails away towards the end.

Weathers fine and I'm looking at them scoring five plus trys which would put the line at over 35.5.
I've got a great photo for tomorrow as well.
